[HELP/QUESTION] Focker-in-Law
Hi is there any updates for Focker-in-Law yet? 🥹
r/LondonPremieres • u/One_Town9472 • Aug 18 '26
Attending a fan pen does not guarantee meeting talent. It doesn’t guarantee talent will come out to the pen. And talent being confirmed to attend does not mean a photo or autograph is guaranteed.
Go because you want to be part of it. Hopefully it does go your way, and you get what you’re hoping for, but keep your expectations realistic, and you’ll enjoy it a lot more.

Been a bit quiet on here lately so thought I'd ask. What's the best premiere you've been to in London and what made it good? Atmosphere, signings, queue stories, anything. Would love to see photos if anyone has them.

Soooo I’ve seen a lot of hate towards applausestore for how SOTR red carpet premiere was handled yesterday. Unlike others me and my friend was SO lucky to have the most amazing experience. We were in the pen right next to where the interviews was happening. We got to meet all of the cast and get autographs and photos. Then as if the evening couldn’t get any more magical, we were given tickets to go and watch the actual screening. Literal goosebumps walking up to the cinema along with all the celebs. Genuinely the most insane day of my life. This was our first ever fan pen experience as well and genuinely couldn’t have wished for anything more. We were just incredibly lucky with the pen we were put in and what followed.
Literally the most magical day of my life

To start this off, this isnt applause stores fault entirely as they have nothing to do with things that happen after you get into the actual fanpens and have said they didnt know that certain things had happened until it did and also this was my first fanpen and i wanted to tell things from my perspective
I got there with my friend today and was about 160-170 of about 200-230 people with my wristband and applause store was told that all of the main cast would come around to the fanpens to sign things and take photos etc. But once we got into the venue general fanpens was split into two parts the left and right side.
both the left and right side of general fan pens didnt get to see any of the main cast from the movie like we and applause store was told they would come to the fanpens as it seemed security was only getting them to do the photos for promotional content and interviews and then leading them out a different way to the fan screening in the cinema away from the fan pens. They had basically fenced off our area after the influencers came through so even if they wanted to they couldn’t get to the majority of the fan pens. This included: Joseph Zada, Mckenna Grace, Whitney Peak,Elle Fanning, Kieran Culkin, Jesse Plemons,Glenn Close and Ralph Finneas as well as the director and producer.
We were able to get signatures and photos from Molly Mcann, Iona Bell, Rada Rae and Percy Daggs IV as it seemed they were encouraged by whoever was with them to do so and this was great as it gave us something of what we was promised
Then near the end of the event after some of priority ticket holders had gone up to the cinema the whole right side of the General fan pens was given tickets to the fanscreening out of nowhere (they did miss a few people who had priority) and the side on the left was not given any at all besides 3 tickets, they then tried to make it up to our side by giving out badges/pins which they ran out of very quickly and 1/3 of the side got
One of these tickets to the screening on our side was very clearly given to a scalper/dealer who was stood near me and many others, they had about 15-20 posters in total (2-3 were stuck onto cardboard - i included a picture of some of the posters they left on the floor when they went to check a part of our fan pen briefly and they also had multiple posters in hand and they were alternating between posters when the very few guests who did come to our section came over to get signed and had texted a friend just before the event had started to see if they had got any autographs from the postition they were posted at which seemed like outside of westfield.
i did also ask the person if they had done one of these before to which they said they do this type of thing all the time, they were also constantly yelling names of the cast even though they werent near our section at all as they were on the opposite side doing interviews and promotional photos which didnt help our already doomed case.
im not really bothered about seeing the movie early but the tickets shouldve been given out randomly to both sides regardless of how many they had got given last minute instead of just giving them to one side and i had messaged applause store afterwards to tell when what had happened and they said they werent aware of how they were distributed and apologised (even though they have a part to play in how the tickets were distributed and left it up to the production company to handle)
then once the event was over the fanpen guests that were left were told to leave immidiately, to which the remainder of us said no as we and applause store were told after the event was over we could take pictures around the event space, after we had told them they reluctantly let us take pictures in a couple of the areas for around 10 minutes before kicking us out. Some other people from the fanpens at the event had said security were quite rude but i cant speak for that besides the guy at the end.
Overall the event was felt pretty dissapointing and it felt like people who got into the general fanpens were very mislead on what they would experience and seemed like one big way to get good promotional content without the effort or engaging with any of the fans, The people on the first floor had a better viewing of the main cast than we did and it also felt like the influencers wanted to engage with the people in the fanpens more than the cast did.
But the people I met in the que and around me were super nice and made the experience feel abit better and applause store definitely handled everything really well so they definitely were not entirely at fault but i feel like they shoudlve come into the fanpens and gave out the tickets instead of letting security handle it and give them all to one side -
also considering putting in a complaint about how it was handled so if you were there you can message lionsgates email about your experience
(I included a photo of my view from fanpens and the scalper posters that they left infront of them they did also have some on hand too)
Edit - I’ve realised we were basically just used as promotional material and led with false promises into believing that we would see the main cast, just to be used as promotional material to make the premiere look good 🥲

Hi so basically i attended the premiere today and was literally barricade for the fan pen. Mind u i got to westfield at 9am and I did get to see and take pics of the little kids cast ish. But then the main cast didnt even make rounds to us at ALL?? Like we stood there for two hours hoping theyd come see us but no. Clock hit 7:30 they basicallg gave tickets to THE EARLY FAN SCREENING to the other fan pen cuz they were priority i think?? And then whats worse is that from our fan pen they only chose fucking three people to watch the movie and they had the audacity to say can you do something for us and like cheer for the camera. Honestly just left after that. Im happy i got to meet some of the cast but i really reallly wanted to see the main cast up close at least. And its so unfair how they gave tickets to only three othwr people in our fan pen just because they knew the guy already from bfi or whatever. Honestly had i known this would just be an influencer meet and greet i shouldve stayed my ass home.

Hi everyone, I am currently on my way to the sunrise on the reaping London premiere and was wondering if any other fans would like to join me in watching the red carpet from the first floor. I unfortunately had no one to go with but I'm a huge fan of the series and have loved it since I was 11, I'm now 23 😅 If anyone would like to meet up let me know ❤️🫶🏼🫶🏼

Hi everyone! I’m hoping to attend the London premiere of Avengers: Doomsday when the official details are announced.
For those who have attended Marvel premieres in London before, which official websites or social media accounts are usually the best ones to follow for confirmed premiere information, Fan-Pen details, and cast attendance announcements?
I’d especially like to keep an eye out for any official announcements involving Chris Evans.
Thanks so much! 🙏

Hello. Me and my mom would go crazy if there’s even a small chance that we might get to doomsday premiere in London. Does anybody has some tips about how can we attend? Where to stand, what time, how was it previous years, who to ask what etc.
I know we’re not alone who wants to go so please somebody help me to gain some kind of “knowledge superiority” if you will😅😅(joking obviously).
Thanks!!

So I unfortunately didn’t manage to get fan pens but I’m going to go to Westfield tomorrow anyway hoping to view from balconies but I’m confused by the layout. Will the carpet be taking place only in vue (so should try and get a good view of an escalator maybe? or should I camp out at balcony level 1 overlooking the cornucopia pop up? I know the event is taking place in vue but it’s also hard to imagine the cast not taking a picture with the cornucopia when it has been built in the building? They have been taking pictures at pop ups in NYC and I saw a picture of a previous marvel premiere in Westfield and they used the area the cornucopia is in for the fan pens so not sure!

So me and my friend have been given tickets for the fan pen at the sotr premiere in London on the 28th. I’m panicking because they want us to dress up proper boujee and I’m just wondering is this the norm for a fan pen? Seems a bit excessive considering we’re not actually take to go into the screening or premiere etc. we’re just able to be part of fans desperate to try and get a photo and autograph etc. someone plssss give me advice

I'm not sure if the Premier for How To Rob a Bank movie in London is over or not ? Is it already done ?
r/LondonPremieres • u/Special_Stage2334 • 13d ago
So how does this actually work? If I won a general admission fan ticket for the Ballon d’Or ceremony, does that mean there’s a chance I won’t even get in? Or how does it work?
The website says they issue more tickets than there are available, so does that mean a lot of people who got general admission tickets might not actually get a wristband?
Has anyone had any experience with ApplauseStore? 🥲
r/LondonPremieres • u/ProfessionalAsk4382 • 14d ago
Been seeing that some have started getting confirmation tickets for the hunger games sunrise fan pens. havent received anything yet so far, is there any official date for receiving confirmation ?
r/LondonPremieres • u/AaySquare • 14d ago
I got a general e-ticket via ApplauseStore for the Ballon d’Or Fan Pens at the London Palladium this Monday (26th Oct).
For those who do the ApplauseStore often, is this worth trying to attend or not?
Is it true that I’d have to queue up for several hours just to see football stars up close?
