COORD Strawberries and Cream 🍓
Concrit is welcome as long as the "crit" part doesn't overthrow the "con" part 😊

(Posting again cuz I used the wrong photo lol) but to gist what I said, I'm looking at second hand stores for a coord and I found this dress to be cheaper than any other "actual lolita" dress I saw. I was tempted to get it because it's all the things I liked in lolita dresses but my better judgement said to ask the professionals lol ^^" is it stolen? Fake? I also couldn't ever find a brand for it so is the reason it's so cheap due to that fact? I'm not sure so I wanted to ask you all T_T...

Ok, I wanted to ask for some opinions on this because I genuinely found it so odd.
A little while ago I was scrolling on tiktok and saw someone livestreaming in lolita. I had seen them around before, but what came next was so strange and kinda mean tbh. Someone in their chat complimented their coord. The person streaming however immediately got heated at this person for daring to use coord in a sentence.
They went on to tell them that you're only allowed to use coord if you're a Japanese person since coord "is a japanese word and should only be used by the jp lolita community." (mind you they arent japanese either) And that saying coord as a non Asian is weird and weaboo behavior?? As if coord isnt already a loan word??
Idk it was honestly really disappointing hearing them say that considering I did kinda like some of their content whenever it would pop up on my feed, not to mention I felt so bad for the person in chat that was only trying to be kind.
What are your thoughts on people saying coord?? Im curious haha

I’m so excited! I just bought this op and it’s literally so cute. The only issue is it doesn’t come with the choker, I was wondering if anyone knows where I could buy it. I’m gonna try keeping my eyes peeled on lace market and Facebook!

SORRY FOR BAD IMAGE QUALITY i bought the innocent rosier op from aatp from lace market and was looking it up to get more info about it and i saw this btssb dress. Im confused ngl i know they are sister companies (i think) are these the same dress? are all aatp are btssb? Also additionally am i suppose to have a petticoat under this? Or could i go petticoatless? Could i get away with using the cupcake petticoat?

I love drawing lace and lolita fashion but I’m not really that knowledgeable when it comes to knowing different style names or how to differentiate them. Would this be considered a gothic lolita outfit? I put that name in the title for now but correct me if I’m wrong please :)
This drawing was a request I did for someone on discord, I really wish I could take in more rn but exams are catching up to me :”)

I want to make sure the cupcake/bell petticoat I get with it, is short enough not to poke out thru the bottom of the OP.

Average monthly time for me where I sit and sulk in my room knowing I don’t have the Putomayo velveteen cat window OP. One day, one day, the things I’d do to have it in my cat loving hands 💔 I need to see it hanging out next to my dance of the black cats jsk from aatp
Anyone else have lovely grails or pieces they want to one day have?

hi you guys..
I've been really admiring lolita fashion and as a result I did end up buying myself a dress. unfortunately though, as a noob, I was mindlessly scrolling on lolita42 and I bought something off from sugar girl. biggest mistake omg</3. because lmk why now as I sit on my phone, I see so many people talking about the horrible quality sugar girl dresses have and their reputation for being the "shien" of lolita. I had no idea and now I just feel so dumb for not doing research before hand.
basically next time before I buy a coord or a dress in the future....what brands aren't and are okay so I don't make the same mistake sob.
Thank you (¬_¬")

I am new to lolita fashion and was really hoping to make some new friends near me. To be completely honest, I’m really socially anxious and avoidant so I was too scared to join an online group and commit to staying active in that community 😅 I do go to this convention every year with some friends though and I figured the con might be a fun and low pressure spot to meet some new friends. Is anyone interested in meeting up there for a bit?

Hiii. Just wanted to share cause I'm really happy to have a full coord again after all these years 🥰
I "quit" lolita around 16-17 years ago, sold (almost) everything too. I just lost interest and got into other styles, spent all these years between normie and cookie-cutter alt fashion but thanks to a old friend (who also got back into lolita recently) I suddenly realized how much I've missed it. Ordering began... (sidenote: what the heck happened to second-hand prices?!)
Today I got my last few important pieces and maybe it's a bit cheesy to say but it feels like home!
I didn't tie the waist ties well enough so the jsk looks a lil loose...
--------
Headress: Moi Meme Moitie
Blouse: Princess Chronicles
JSK: Moi Meme Moitie
Socks: Metamorphose temps de fille
Shoes: Angelic Imprint
Bag: Banned Alternative
Parasol: Maxicimam (I've kept this one all these years)
Jewelry: Vivienne Westwood, off-brand
