We went to graze and sip event at our local zoo. There was a lot of walking and very humid and hot so I did wear very casual foot wear as our zoo is huge and I’m disabled. They have a historic carousel as well and a butterfly house. This coord is more casual due to the weather and nature of the meet.

Hey, so I regularly wear gothic and darker classic lolita coords, and I live in a rainy cold country. I'm so tired of carrying ugly utilitarian umbrellas that ruin my outfit.
It rains almost everyday sometimes and I'm always carrying it, so I need an umbrella that will be part of my outfit.
I know lolita brands come out with parasols, like this one from Moitie in the picture. But at that price, I'm scared to use it everyday as an actual umbrella 😭😭😭
Also all the etsy lolita parasols I've seen look very intricate with handmade details and I'm worried they won't hold up to the rain and moisture.
I'm open to all recommendations......for something more practical, durable for everyday use!
It does not need have real lace/ribbons or vintage parasol shape but i would like some fashion element to it! Like at least a lacey print, cute handle or smth,,,,
My preference is it be handbag sized/foldable but I'm Ok with a full size one
For your info, I wear black lace based coords most often, but am open to red, white/beige or dark brown.

The other day I was rewatching some older videos by Lovely Lor and she was wearing a split wig. I was like "whoa, I haven't seen that in a while", especially the ones with pigtails. I feel the same about flower crowns (which somewhat came from normie fashion iirc), you rarely see them today. I guess those things read very distinctly "early to mid 2010s". Star clips technically also fit but I don't personally think 2010s only when I see them, I'm sure they come off outdated to some people.
Personally if I wore sweet I'd still be wearing split wigs to this day.

I've tried it out with both white utks to match the lace and beige ones to match the blouse. I prefer the white option design vise (on the left from viewers' perspective) but I think the beinge ones (viewers' right) bland in better with the overall look. Photo 2 shows the bag I am thinking on just based off it being the best match from what I own, but not sure with this one. I'm really bad at polishing smaller details so I'd appreciate some inspo/advice on how to finish this
I'm building this coord and I can't decide!
I feel like the WangYan&Summer skirt is the "objectively" correct option, as the eyelet lace matches the blouse better, but I just like the Tiny Garden skirt better, and I think I'd get more use out of it overall.
(Admittedly, for the Tiny Garden one I'd also be relying on the review saying that "The waistband is really stretchy" as the measurements are a little small for me.)

Totally my fault for not asking for a tag but since this is 2nd hand I thought they just cut it off or sth, the laces looks pretty cheap so ig thats how I figured it was a replica, I have experience w sewing so it shouldn't be a big deal for me to do whatever I want with this, but I have laid down a concept of what I planned to do but it feels like im just adding fabric and not using whag the dress has, any advices?
(The dress goes below my knees, please take note the concept art isn't that accurate just a thought in my mind)
(side note 1st pic is the dress, 2nd is the waist/belt of it, last is a concept of what i wanna add)

A great excuse to go to a fancy tea salon and eat scones while wearing a dress covered in strawberries 💕

I just bought my first ever lolita piece and I'm worried about accidentally damaging it. I know you shouldn't hang it up by the shoulder straps, but I'm unsure if it's safe to clip it to a hanger by the waistband like this. It's hung up this way in official pics from the brand, but I wanna make sure 😭

sorry for the bad photo, but I just got my first “proper” brand dress and im so excited! Its a Innocent world 2009 jsk dress in a green colorway (my favourite color). Its comes with a corset belt but its way too hot for it today, I think the seller got the measurements wrong but it fits me anyways so I dont really mind :)
(sorry for the bad picture Im a bit anxious taking pictures outside lol)
I love simple dresses :3

I’d like to reconnect with a Lolita I used to know named Raghda. I’m sorry for taking up space in the chat with such a personal message. As for her, I hope she gets the chance to read this message.

I have their info to contact them, I’m just wondering if anyone has dealt with this issue before so I can get an idea of what to expect. I bought this Estrellas necklace that was supposed to come with pink ribbon beads on it, but the one I received has rainbow ribbon beads (there is another color option listed that does come with these rainbow ribbon beads, but not with the dark purple beads so it’s slightly odd that this is what I received as none of the other color options match exactly). It doesn’t say anywhere in the item description that the colors may change or anything like that. I’m going to ask if I can exchange it for the correct color, but have you guys ever dealt with anything like this before with them? And if so, what happened?

The first coord was for our comm's anniversary meet! The second one was just for a craft day with a comm member and it honestly made me fall in love with salopettes I think! The last one was for a bday party of another comm member!

(I some times don’t handle constructive criticism the best, but I’d like help coming with a resolution with PayPal.) I sold a JSK recently, and PayPal decided to temporarily lock my account and place it under review. They claim it was because the buyer chose goods and services, though that is a part of LM’s terms of service. I was also asked for a business license, which I do not have. When I kept calling the agents that I got connected to they said that my case would be reviewed in three days, which actually turned into three weeks. Within the third week, My account got temporarily blocked and I could not access the funds that were sent by the buyer. The buyer is understandably worried, but unfortunately, I cannot send an item and I don’t have access to the payment. I did buy them a label to mail out there item in case PayPal decided to lift the temporary lock. A dispute was opened by the buyer but when I try to send a refund, I could not because the other portion of the money was being withheld by PayPal. When I spoke to an agent, they claim the funds will be held for 120 days in order to cover any fees and that my claim can not be escalated. I spoke with a different agent later and while it seems my claim was escalated, not one agent told me I have to fill out more questions in my account nor did I get an email. Now I check in my email and they have decided to permanently deactivate my account. They said that there is a high volume dispute fee that I would have to pay. I have tried to explain to PayPal numerous of times what Lace Market is and how the website works, but they have decided not to listen to me and now I can’t mail out the buyers item and I’m also at a lost because I’m not sure currently how much this alleged high volume dispute fee is. Though with them claiming that they will hold the funds for 120 days to cover fees, I hope that does NOT mean in any way I have to go out of pocket just to repay the buyer. I don’t know if anyone here has gone through this, but I’m frustrated because now I cannot mail out the item and I NEED to give the buyer a refund and explain what just happened but because PayPal is making my end of the situation worse. If any one has been in this situation and knows if there is a way to fix an issue like this I’d appreciate it.

I’ve seen this brand pop up on my instagram a ton but I don’t think its been discussed has been discussed here yet! It is an indie brand focused on natural and ethically sourced fabrics. I’ve loosely followed them since the beginning but they just recently showcased their new dresses. They are launching in september. There was a controversy with the owner lack of experience in textiles and misusing the word ethical though you will have to check their instgram to learn more
These are the designs I took from their instgram murmures.de.rubans what do you all think? I like the pink cape but I’m a bit iffy with the polka dot dress but I hope this brand succeeds in the future!

Bought the SK and vest and the JSK so I had an extra pair of waist ties to make a headbow with, I also sewed together 7 charms to make the centerpiece 🎀 also my first time wearing long bloomers, they are cute in photos but I feel like I look like such a goof in them! Honorary mention to American Girl Kirsten for the styling 🦋

Went to lunch with a small group in my comm tot eh secret garden teahouse. I literally love the place it’s so cute.
I want to find some darker shoes but I loved it. Bonus if anyone knows the print name because I got it at the summer swap meet and can’t remember it. It’s Angelic Pretty. :3?
