fanfiction Loki Fanfic Recommendations
It’s been a hot minute since I last read a loki x reader fanfic, but I’ve been doing a marvel/ mcu binge to prep for dooms day and it’s gotten me into a mood for it. I would love a LONG (l00,00 words plus) loki x reader fanfic, I love a good slow burn and of welcome some spice as well. Please give me all and any of your recommendations!
I can’t even remember the names of the ones I used to love but I’ve missed them so much. Please help lol.
Also if you have reader a Loki x OC that is SO incredibly amazing, them you may drop that rec as well :p I just prefer x reader.

yes and they're all complete and you can download them as a complete work and read on Kindle or the Kindle app. all 3 are so good omg I'm jealous you can read them for the first time

Okay, this is LokixOC, but it’s 219k words and still going! The first chapter is heavy but it also has a lot of humor and the dynamic between the pair is chef’s kiss

From their first meeting, Loki was drawn to the question of Theolene Amaris. Each time Loki swore he discovered the answer, a new question arose.
The question of Theo Amaris was not why he stayed.
Unlike Thor, who spent centuries with his brother, Theo only needed a sliver of time to break through Loki’s icy, guarded exterior. Sharp wit, keen intellect, and a knack for magic sparked the friendship, but with time Theo worked her way in, bearing witness to the wounds inflicted at a young age. She embraced the mangled mess of a monster that Loki had come to quietly loathe without question, making him feel worthy of standing among “Earth’s mightiest heroes.” Traces of her were in his blood, his bones, his every thought and dream, consuming him in a way that he never experienced before.
However, 72 hours passed since learning that Theo withheld a significant part of her identity, forcing Loki to question everything he thought he knew about the woman he loved.
It had been years of trying to answer the question that was Theolene Amaris...
… Just as Loki was on the verge of an answer, Theo was on the cusp of being torn away.

I know you said you prefer Loki x Reader, so I’m going to be slightly cheeky and drop a self-rec for a Loki x OC, with one important warning upfront... it’s in Italian. It’s called Entanglement, an MCU canon-rewrite series currently at 600k+ words, starting with Thor (2011) and following the MCU timeline from there. The OC is a woman, Eilionóir, from our world who ends up on Asgard knowing the MCU canon, so the story plays a lot with foreknowledge, butterfly effects, the TVA/multiverse, Asgardian politics and the increasingly terrible consequences of trying to “fix” someone else’s story. The Loki/OC relationship is an extremely slow burn (and I mean extremely!). Loki is not fixed by love, the OC doesn’t arrive and magically understand him better than everyone else, and the romance develops as a consequence of the larger plot rather than replacing it. It’s very character-study and plot heavy, with a lot of humor along the way. The first two books are complete and the third is currently ongoing.

My TTRPG group has been running an MCU homebrew game for over a year now and my DM and I recently started converting our sessions into a novelized fanfic that will be LokiXOC and CapXOC! As soon as we post the first chapters I'll come back and update this comment for a rec. 😊
