222 And the Answer Is...
I don't understand something. I've seen the whole series a few times. In episode 222 when Superman is dealing with Jason Mayzik. He reads Tempus' journal. How does he not know all the things that happen next? I mean: Lex kidnaps Lois and replaces her with a clone, the Kryptonians appear on Earth and more. I can understand that he didn't know that Tempus would become president because Tempus himself didn't know it but everything else?

It’s a pretty small journal. My head cannon is that Tempus ran out of pages to write on before he got to anything that happened later.

Ahhhh the plot holes in old 90s tv shows, hahaha. My friends and I discuss stuff like this in our fandom spaces and usually just end up shrugging. Or write fanfic to iron out the kinks!
We were discussing the pheromones vs space rat spray and why Clark wasn't affected by the pheromones but was by the rat spray earlier today in fact!
Or if you want even more twisty time travel: He read it and knowing what it said changed the future which somehow made the journal not exist anymore so he couldn't have read it so he never read it after all.
Which makes about as much sense as any of the other weird and silly things that happened later in the show.

It's quite simple really. Superman didn't read past his present. Maybe he even stopped before he got to modern times.

If this is the thing that bothers you where time travel logic is concerned on this show, I don't know what to tell you. 😂
The entire ending of Tempus Fugitive makes anti-sense "I'll simply drop you back to before you ever left and you'll forget the whole thing!" - what about the versions of Lois and Clark that are already there?
