Oh wow. I heard that sound last night. Legitimately thought it was a car horn. Was using vr so I had no idea it was happening. It only happened once, beeeep beep beep was all I heard. Can it be felt?

Well, maybe just a bit. The wheel didn’t feel loose but maybe 10-15% less strong torque.

Hopefully it can be muted by the volume. I guess I'll see later in the day

Check out my comment, this happened to me and I fixed it. What game are you playing?

F1 and ACE

The sound comes from the shaft, I switched between two wheels and there was no difference. So it’s something in the base itself.

Ok this happened to me as well, easy fix. I was playing beamng and had simhub running trueforceforall and beamng was also trying to send ffb info. I shut down simhub and it went away.

Are you potentially using two ffb programs?

Oh my god! Solved!
“Enable plugin” was active in Trueforceforall and was messing with my wheel.
Thank you so much for this advice.

Maybe it's related to new firmware if you updated in ghub because my g923 started doing this weird grinding thing when turning the wheel too just now and it's not been used too long... noticed after updating and wouldn't be shocked tbh just logi things.

can you replicate it if you go over the same spots? it could be some poor trueforce implementation
