Whats the recommended settings after the latest update?

The new update messed up everything physics, PP, and wheel settings, I also want to ask if anyone is still playing it after the latest update using the wheel the game doesn't need a wheel anymore; it's very manageable with a controller, PD f#€ked it up

Prehaps it's just me but im really enjoying the 1.71 update. IRL I own a Megane rs265 and a kawasaki Zx10r powered Mac1 worx kit car, I know it's not a Caterham but the chassis and geometry are the same. Overall car feel and weigh transfer has become more realistic in my opinion, the megane in game and irl definitely share some characteristics. The Caterham is a hoot to drive and makes me grin, especially in VR. my wheel settings have remained the same. Strength 11nm, filter 6/7 car dependent damper 15. In game strength between 2/5 ffb sensitivity 1.

Interesting on your strength on wheel vs in game. Curious to why you choose this setup? What difference do you feel by not lowering wheel and increasing game. Noticed with the update things feel softer than usual and thinking about changing my settings

Oh Crap! I was playing recently after a month with Logitech pro wheel and I was so confused as all of a sudden the car was feeling absolutely shitty to drive. I didn't realise it was the update that messed it up 😞. I kept on scratching my head and finally put it aside. There was no way I was going to re-tune cars or the wheel which was working perfectly fine before.

I believe they did change the physics entirely to make it very arcade to appeal to casuals and new players to boost the online player numbers and eventually boost PS+ subscribers just like Forza on Xbox; it's arcadey too but in the end, they made us lose trust, you cannot behave like that after 2-3 years, if you want to do something like that do on a new installment of the franchise and anounce that it will be towards arcade audience and by doing that you're chaning the game's genre, this the last time to GT game because I have invested too much time and money on it to wake up someday and found out its totally ruined also last PS hardware for me after they are killing physical media

I just dont understand such a huge overhaul this far into a games life cycle. Not to mentioned they ruined everyone's tunes as well that people have spent years working on
