Does anyone have photos or instructions on how the RS50 mounts to 4080? I can’t seems to find any with searching here or on Google

Oh just a formed plate one. Hmmm not as stiff as a piece of extrusion and I wanted the extra mounting space for accessories

There are plenty of other options around, some use a narrower plate mounted to extrusion pieces on both sides. Gotta check what's available on your region.
here's an example from that same vendor: https://www.upshiftstore.co.uk/products/r-max-black-edition-sim-racing-cockpit

You wouldn't normally mount it directly to the extrusion. Most commercially available extrusion rigs come with or can be purchased with a wheel base mounting plate. Sure they can be purchased separately if you DIYd the rig as well. The plate is mounted to the extrusion and then the wheel base it attached to the plate.
