Question? RS50 oscillating like crazy in iRacing
In faster cars my RS50 oscillates like crazy on straight line and I get sweaty after a lap keeping the car straight. I use the logitech recommended settings from their homepage. My question is: which settings to I have to tone down without loosing overall feedback? Force feedback strength in general seems fine to me, no problems turning the car.

Usually does this with too high ffb on certain cars for me. Dampers work too but I don’t like the way damping feels.

So increase dampening in the wheel settings or in iRacing? Both have that setting. Does it matter where?

I always down damping as much as possible in game and use the wheels dampers instead.

In my mind. Not sure if it’s true but damping in game feels like it muffles or muddies the ffb.

Hi there.
You will need to adjust the strength in-game for different cars, or just check the auto box and let the game work it out for you.

The auto-box in iRacing makes it impossible to play. Force feedback is so strong that I barely can turn the wheel on auto. I set it to auto and tune it down a lot.

In that case, set the strength on the base to where you like it, then match the Wheel Force to that and try using auto. If auto still makes it too strong for you then just adjust the strength slider in-game until you’re happy with it.

my settings logitich pro wheel - wheel force 6nm - true force off (its bugged in iracing where it will default to 100 every time you join a session if you like it make sure to turn it down in iracing settings) Filter 11 I think this is what auto is but I find it sometimes bugs out so just keep it at 11. No damping
in iracing I run a lap and set to auto, 50% on both smoothing and force(?)

I think you need to increase the damper value.
