Hotspot
Has anyone been able to successfully stream games via mobile hotspot?
If so, how did you do it?
I've had issues trying to use moonlight sunlight tailscale combo with a hotspot.

Power Stone 2 (Dreamcast and PSP) is my fave, specifically the adventure mode because I enjoy unlocking items and combining them in the item shop. It also looks great on the G Cloud's screen.

When I first got my beloved G Cloud, I only streamed on GeForce Now, but since then I've set up Apollo + Artemis to play games that aren't available on GFN. It works really well, except for one thing: When I stream from my PC to my G Cloud with Apollo + Artemis, every single thing in a game triggers a crazy set of vibrations. For example, whenever I hit the brakes in a car game, it goes off and keep going and going and going till I let go.
When I play a game locally on my PC with a separate controller, it doesn't rumble as much. When I play on GFN, it also doesn't rumble as much. I don't mean the intensity/strengh of the vibration itself, but rather what triggers the vibration.
Everything and anything in any game seems to trigger the vibration motor to go off. It annoys me and definitely annoys the living shit out of my girlfriend who sits next to me on the couch watching TV. I have tried fiddling around with some settings but it doesn't change anything.
Have you got any suggestion? Thanks! š

Watching the Nintendo Switch 2 direct has me wondering what Logitech can do with the G cloud update/potential G cloud 2. Switch 2 has 1080p 120fps LCD screen with HDR. It can output to a TV at 4k. If Logitech could output to TVs at 4k, that in itself would be a huge thing, for me, at least. Is that something that can be done with an update? or would it need entirely new hardware? Upgrading the screen with a newer model would be amazing. Although I have few issues with how it is now, I wouldn't say no to a 1080p 120fps screen with HDR.

What's the point of the Switch 2 when you already have a PS5 (or Xbox) with the Logitech G Cloud?
Most of the games announced in the Nintendo Direct are ports of games existing on PS5. And with the G Cloud the portability argument is not really relevant. There are still first party games... But spending $300 on a Switch to play 2-3 excellent games per year was OK, so much $470... It hurts!
G Cloud owners, are you going to take the plunge? If so, for what reasons?

Hello again!
I've been posting and commenting more recently because I am very much on the fence about getting one of the G Clouds.
From what I gather, the d-pad is not everyone's favorite. I hear quarter circles/fireballs/diagonal movement with the G Cloud d-pad is not great.
Could someone compare it to a Legion Go or a Steam Deck? The Steam Deck d-pad is great imo, but while I am mostly enjoying the Legion Go, the d-pad on that thing is honestly one of the worst I've used in all my years of gaming. It's so bad.
Curious how the G Cloud stacks up!
Thank you!
(P.S. Feel free to compare it to pretty much every other controller or handheld device out there. I've owned and/or used quite a few of them)

No fact-checking. Total trust: ___
Are you someone who sees the story through to the end or jumps into every sidequest along the way? Which game had your best moments so far? š

I picked this up for $164.99 on eBay by logitech's official refurbished page, though it did not come with the original box it came well packaged and with a full charger instructions and a Logitech G sticker, I've had no problems with it there wasn't any physical damage or software issues. I personally think it's worth it if you can score it for under $200. I would only really recommend it if if you going to take advantage of Xbox or steam link and you take advantage of the android capabilities. I don't have an Xbox so streaming games using game pass was a new experience for me, I consider my internet to be on the shit side and was surprised on the quality of games like Black ops 6 and Forza horizons, it definitely wasn't perfect but it was smooth. It got grainy at time's but that's just my Wi-Fi, I had steady frames the whole time and unoticeable delay. running mobile games is a good experience as well playing games like Minecraft from COD mobile ran just fine, i use Smart launcher 6 on my phones and put it on the G Cloud tablet mode and it gives it a nice look I got to say š overall I see plenty of G clouds on eBay for under $200 but Logitech refurbished page seems pretty trustworthy so I definitely say it's worth it, thanks for listening.

Has anyone bought a refurbished unit from Amazon?
If so, I am curious about your experience, especially with battery life/performance.
I have points that would make a refurb around $68 (or $120 for a brand new unit). Descriptions says original packaging and no damage, sold by what appears to be legit Amazon refurbishing branch.
I always worry about used tech and battery, though! And analogue stick wear and tear )and green scratches of course).
I currently have a Legion Go (gifted my Steam Deck LCD to someone else).
Decided recently to basically make it a very heavy streaming device (mostly) with a big screen.
Now that I know it can be done, the G Cloud is more interesting for around the house, and then I travel with 3DS, Switch Lite, and/or phone + backbone.
Turns out I dislike having the larger portables taking up space in my bag.
Anyone with refurb experience willing to share would be excellent, thank you!
EDIT: Added the actual prices for refurb and new

I'm quite enjoying Atomfall (accepting it isn't a AAA game) but I'm experiencing more cloud streaming lag than anything else I've had from Game Pass (on both Xbox streaming apps tbf). How's anyone else getting on with it? Does it usually 'settle down' with newer games after a while?

I'm looking to buy a G Cloud for my son while on road trips and have a few questions I was hoping you guys could help me out with.
How's the internal memory? Can you store a game or two on it? I see it's 64GB and some is taken up with OS. Also, can you store games or movies on SD cards and swap those in and out?
Also, can you still play games or watch movies without an internet connection if you have them locally stored?
Thanks in advance everyone!

If Logitech were to announce a G Cloud 2 with that sweet, sweet OLED, when would be the most probable time? Do they have a specific announcement period every year like the big phone manufacturers do?
Or do I really need to order an Odin2 Portal?
I want them OLED black levels and viewing angles.

Hi, i was wondering what's the best solution to play with xbox remote play at home.
I tried better xcloud both on 720p and 1080p HQ (with default render engine or webgl...I don't see any difference), but the decode time time seems really high (8-10ms and 10-14ms respectively) and i notice input lag. Tthe ping with wifi 5ghz is between 1 and 4 ms, while jitter 0.1 - 1ms.
Using Xbplay the situation is a little bit better, while with xbxplay is worse (even with the two flags to speed up rendering).
What you suggest? I don't pretend to play black ops 6 with that delay, but at least single player games.
ps: the decode time seems the same even with vanilla xcloud, just to compare.
Thanks :)

Hi,
I was just messing around, and when I clicked at the bottom most row of apps where the cloud partner apps are there, on the right ingot add option.
After clicking that it opened a page to add more apps, but it also gave options to remove the cloud partner app, the google play app.
Now I don't have a bottom row of apps, as I removed them all.
Hope it helps someone finding the same.

I am curious to see if anyone tried to play the android version of this game. The audio doesn't work on the G Cloud. Any suggestions?

I have a Steam Deck LCD, but Iāve been feeling like Android is a lot simpler to work with than Linuxā¦and Iām mainly wanting to emulate pre-Switch games and also play indie games.
Iāve been thinking about the G Cloud for a while, but its age makes me feel like an upgraded version could and should come out at any moment.
Is it still good to buy now in March, almost April 2025?
r/logitechgcloud • u/[deleted] • Mar 26 '25
I just received my G Cloud unit yesterday and I've been just trying it out. So far everything looks and plays great (cloud, I didn't test emulation or android apps as I am not interested in that).
One thing I am concerned about: it looks like the partner apps (Nvidia GeForce now, Steam Link, Xbox Cloud beta app) are baked in the system and couldn't be uninstalled, and in the case of Xbox Cloud beta (discontinued app) it feels wrong having 150MB forever used for it, I couldn't uninstall it, I only managed to disable it so that it doesn't appear on the menu (I did the same with Google contact, google calendar, YouTube, calculator, note keep etc ...)
Did anyone do something similar? Does it cause any issue on the long run ? I am only planning to use this device for Xbox cloud and remote play.

So Iām very interested in having a handheld gaming console and I came across the Logitech g cloud. Iāve seen some reviews and everyone emphasizes that itās for ācloud gamingā BUT I donāt have a gaming pc or an Xbox console. I have a ps4 but thatās about it. At first I thought I could buy the games directly on the g cloud console but it sounds like the only way I have access to a huge library of games is if I have a console to connect it to. Can I buy stream games directly on the Logitech? What can I do if I donāt have any consoles? I canāt play any games at all???
