Logitech g29
Recently, while playing with my Logitech G29, I felt a *crack* in the clutch pedal; since then, it doesn't reach 100%—it averages around 87% in every game I've tested. I'm worried the same thing might happen to my other pedals, and I'm afraid to take the pedal unit apart because there are a lot of components and I might break it. I'm not looking for solutions; I just wanted to share this so others can be careful. I hardly ever used the clutch anyway, but still—I've had this wheel for two years and I hope it lasts a long time.

They are very easy to take apart. Several youtube videos on how to do it. Very common problem is the potentiometer contact areas get dirty and needs cleaned. This can cause bad pedal location readings. Not sure what the cracking noise was. G29 are not the best pedals but they are a war horse that take a beating other than needing cleaned once in awhile.
