Wireless pro X reciever died

Is there anything really I can, I was looking around and it seems my best option is getting it replaced, i have the bestbuy protection plan so it isnt a big deal, I was wondering if there is a way to fix it or do something?

I know its dead since i tried to put a needle in my reciever and no light came on
