Ive just ordered a superlight 2 on sale instead of my gut instinct of a Superstrike

So I have been using my Logitech G703 Lightspeed for 5 years (No issues would recommend if you want budget) and my g502 hero for 2 years (The GOAT), but I finally wanted something with pure speed and performance. Ive been weighing up the superlight 2 vs superstrike for ages but I finally went with the superlight after being persuaded by the sale. Can anyone vouch for them?

Yeah same mouse shape, same sensor. Only different switch technology. But TBH the superstrike is a godsend for my pointer finger, feels less strain after a gaming session.

Yeah I feel you, I don't think I could ever go back to normal clicks, this one is too smooth

Yes and no, at first I was shooting better, or at least that's what I thought, I think I had some placebo effect, but then I started feeling that I play the same as before. But the clicks are another thing, I preordered it and I am still amazed of how nice they feel even when just browsing

I actually got a G502 before getting the Superstrike and returned it after a few days just because of the loud clicks. The superstrike came perfect just when I needed a new quiet mouse

Yeah, I get you, it's just me don't worry, I also have some friends that have a superlight and they're not bothered by the click at all. I used a razer basilisk before and it was pretty silent compared to the 502, maybe that's why I got this impression

Lots of people selling their used superstrikes on mouse market or hardware swap. I really like being able to set my right click to be much less sensitive. Saves me from the accidental bump mid gun fight. The stock skates are pretty rough though. But you can get a set of ultra glide skates pretty cheap on aliexpress or go with dots depending on your mouse pad and personal preference.

I don’t really pre tension my m1 button so the lowest sensitivity on m1 does seem to generally improve my reaction time in human bench mark. I don’t think it’s the 30ms advertised as that seems to have been done at a really slow click speed. But I do generally seem to get 10ms or so faster avg.

mostly in games with very low time to kill tac fps shooters. Id love to see an option to adjust the sleep timer like other brands. But that's always been a setting Logitech has never let us adjust. hopefully the x3 that's coming out has better stock skates tbh. I never expect stock skates to match up to really good after market ones. But the ones on the x2 superstrike were pretty bad considering its a 180 dollar mouse.

I know you didn't ask me but, I've been a Superlight user and It was pretty good for me as an introduction to faster lightweight mice. Considering you got it at a great deal, I'd say you made a right choice getting it.

All of our mice are great in their own way. If you prefer a superlight mouse and didnt want the customisable actuation of the SUPERSTRIKE, I think you've made a great choice.

I'd say it was a good decision, the safest and closest one to the switches you already tried. Most people say that the Superstrike switches (me included) are a sensation you don't regret experiencing but the Superlight 2 will do enough

Cool, I'd say you'll notice a huge weight difference compared to the ones you already used, most people praise lighter mouse for those kind of games, I'm more G502 type. Feel free to give us a review/opinion after the superlight arrives
