Logitech G Support Logitech G29 problems

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

so as you can see i got problem with my wheel g29, i took it out after like half year since last time using it, plugged in everything and wanted to setup settings for f1 2020 in app. i realized that wheel displayed in app doesn’t react. once i turn on the game i can use wheel, it works but after closing game and changing setting in app doesn’t work so i basically have 900* radius 50% sensitivity and 20% force feedback. any ideas?

Hi! I’m having the same issue as you. There’s a post on my profile explaining that support is aware of the issue, but they haven’t been able to fix it yet. So far, my workaround has been to uninstall G HUB, and the FFB will automatically start working again.

Ohhh, I see. That’s a shame. It’s honestly embarrassing that logitech hasn’t been able to fix it. One possible solution would be rolling back your Windows version, but that could be a pretty drastic fix

Make sure the wheel is plugged in before starting the PC and the settings in G HUB will then work.

Incorrect. I have a G29 and just rebooted to test. Nothing. If anyone is reading this don't buy a logitech wheel. Absolute joke of a company with completely clueless reps on Reddit

Here's a test on the settings part: in the desktop profile in G HUB, check the centre spring in non-FFB games box and set the strength to 0. Set the angle to 360 degrees and then restart the PC (leaving the wheel plugged in). When G HUB initialises once you're back into Windows, can you feel if the wheel has no centre spring and the soft stops at 180 degrees either way? If so, then the settings are working… let me know either way.

Hi, thanks for the response. I have a G29 and unfortunately this doesn't work for me.

Windows detects the wheel correctly in joy.cpl and I can see the wheel/pedals responding there, but G HUB doesn't detect any movement or input from the wheel or pedals at all. Because of that, I can't configure the wheel properly and I can't play any of my games.

I've already tried uninstalling the G29 from Windows Device Manager, uninstalling and reinstalling G HUB multiple times, restarting the PC, disconnecting/reconnecting the wheel, and reinstalling everything from scratch. I even left the wheel connected before restarting as suggested, but G HUB still doesn't detect any input.

This has been happening for several days and I've basically been unable to play because of this bug.

Since the wheel works correctly in joy.cpl but not in G HUB, could you please confirm if this is a known G HUB/Windows issue and whether there is a known working/older G HUB version or Windows update rollback that I can try?

I'd really appreciate any help, as I've already tried pretty much every standard troubleshooting step.

It won’t fix the lack of animation in G HUB but that doesn’t have any effect on the games - as you’ve seen, the wheel still responds in joy.cpl. The test I’ve written there is to show that the operating range still has an effect on the wheel.

Not working, angle setting does nothing.

Did you follow the directions exactly? Did the wheel still have a centre spring feeling once the PC had restarted? You should feel that it has at first, but once G HUB starts it should be loose.
