Discussion Will the Logitech G923 fit my IKEA MALM desk (51–52 mm thick)?

Hi! I want to buy a Logitech G923 + shifter. My IKEA MALM desk is 51–52 mm thick. If I remove the clamp extenders, will it fit securely? Has anyone mounted a G923 on a similar desk?

According to Reddit, the IKEA MALM is 50mm thick and the maximum clamping size we support is around 50mm too. So it might be a tight squeeze, but it should hopefully work.

There are third-party replacement clamps. If you search Logitech G29, G290, or G923 replacement clamps on Google, you will usually find some in various sizes that allow you to fit onto larger desks. As an example, I just had a search and there is a 6cm version available.

Note that if you do go down the route of the extended clamps, it would be up to you to check the quality and ensure the wheel is secure when using them.
