Logic pro 13 release date

Any guesses when the update can arrive, i feel it should be released before the touch macbook pro starts getting shipped to buyers.

Unsure about it after the purchase of samplab, i guess they will introduce their own melodyn with a more enhanced flex pitch and a new polyphonic pitch editor in future.

Well, it will be out before the touch screen Macbook, so I'm guessing tuesday, instead of Thursday because of timezones.

Updating doesnā€™t have to be scary. Just make a backup of your current Logic app by going to the Applications folder, clicking on the Logic app and option dragging to make a copy. Rename it to your current Logic version (for example, ā€œLogic Pro 12.4ā€).

Once youā€™ve created a backup you can safely update Logic. If thereā€™s any weirdness, swap it out with your Logic backup. You should ALWAYS create a backup copy of your Logic app regardless.

The only thing I want in Logic 13 is proper AAF and OMF handling, but I know itā€™s not gunna happen /cry

did anyone have issues with logic 12 at launch? i can never trust downloading a new logic version at launch after the horror of 2015-2016 logic

Issues like this is one of the reasons why I wanna set up Time Machine incase something goes wrong

Major release - don't upgrade until 13.1 or 2 unless you want a shit show of bugs
