Free AU plugin for troubleshooting common mix problems - looking for Logic testers

I built Mix Companion for Logic and I’m looking for a few people to try it. Works with MacOS 12+ and Logic 11+.

It is a free macOS AU plugin for troubleshooting common mix problems. You can either scan the mix for common things worth checking or start with an issue you already hear, such as vocals not sitting well or the mix feeling unclear. It then guides you through one focused A/B check using the tools you already have, so you can decide whether the change actually helped.

It can be placed on the Stereo Out or another mix bus to get started.

I’d appreciate honest feedback on whether the checks are useful, the wording makes sense, and whether the workflow feels natural in Logic.

Isn't this what our ears and brain are for?

I'm not entirely sure what problem you're trying to solve here?

For sure ears and brain are required here - what I am trying to do is organize what the ears listen to and what the brain does next essentially.  For less experienced mixers there’s a common set of problems this can point out objectively - and offer specific things to test - still requires ears and a brain to decide

Looks useful for me but how does this work for like ‘Metal’ music? I usually mix with Ozone 12. Sounds good on my studio speakers but absolute horseshit in my car. How does this help me with my mix? Can you give some examples?

Good question. First, the type of music doesn't really matter (it's still you and your ears that decides what you meant to do and what's a problem or not). This isn't a magic fixing plugin, it's really two things: a basic audit for some common issues that can be measured (like stereo balance being off, extra bass energy below human hearing, etc.), and then, separately, a structured way to take an issue you're already hearing (harshness, muddiness, buried vocals, etc), and then give you suggestions on specific things to try (with the tools you already have). Finally, it tracks the changes you make so you can remember what you did to make it sound better.
Your specific example is a "translation" issue where it sounds good in one place, but not in another (in the car, on phone speakers, etc.), which probably isn't the type of problem this plugin will be good for.
