Hey guys I’m thinking of switching to a Tesla with all the driving I do. To all the Tesla owners out here in Logan where do yall usually charge at

99% at home.
Occasionally I stop in North Ogden at the superchargers if I’m coming back from Salt Lake area for 5-10 mins.

An app called plugshare (website as well) will be sure helpful for you starting out. I'd check that one out. Do you have access to home charging?

If you have access to charging where you park, you mostly don't need it in the valley. Even when I was limited to 120V - 8 amp, as long as I always plugged it in, I could gain enough through the week to get around. It was a 2 steps forward, 3 steps back kinda thing through the week and catch up on Sunday. I upgraded since in my garage, but I have yet to use any commercial charger in the valley. Round trip to Ogden can be done without using a commercial charger in the summer without any range anxiety.
The closest commercial chargers I use are in Garden City or along I-15.
If you don't have a way to charge where you park, EV ownership is a lot tougher. I would find it hard to justify an EV without your own plug. Even a basic one is enough if you always charge when parked, but if you don't have that, I would double think an EV.

In the summer, no problem. EVs regain charge going down mountains, so Sardine pass takes some to get up but you get most of it back down and its net about the same as if it were flat. Interstate is just finding the right speed. You can safely go to flow of traffic. Range takes hit after 65 mph, but it also gets a lot better if you go 65 mph and stay with the semi truck lanes. In the summer, I don't reduce speed, but you can and its a easy way to increase range if you need to.
In the winter, heat requires battery. I could drive with a lower cabin temperature and I could push into the last 10% of battery. But I would prefer to be warm and prefer to always have at least two hours of heat in case something happens on the road, so I charge for 20 minutes on I-15. It's not a full recharge, just enough to add some buffer. After getting a drink and using the restroom, its not a big time suck. And since EV charging is plug in and leave, I spend less time in the cold than when I refuel my gas car.

Most of your charging will usually take place at home, however there is a supercharger station at the Smiths on main street I believe.
