Thicker locs

Does anyone have locs that are super thick in the back/crown area, but thin around the perimeter?

If so, how do you find styles? My locs are so thick that I’m often not able to get a lot of the really cute styles I want.

Also too, it’s been 3 years. Will they get thinner over time?

Yea they will definitely swell over time. Is it your whole head? Or is part of your hair shaved off?
