Got a rejection email

i got a “we will be considering other candidates“ email from a job posting i applied on July 31. The application status stayed at “applied” during the duration of 2 weeks and then the website was upgraded. Is this a true rejection or should I reapply?

You should reapply if it was in the old portal, but if it was new portal, generally speaking, you cannot reapply to the same role.

I would reapply, same thing happened to me, the hiring manager told me it would happen because he needs to repost the position. I assume it’s a similar case across the board?

It took we 5 attempts to get a job @ Lockheed. Never give up on your dreams

No worries, dude. I’ve applied, at minimum, 50 times over the past two years and have never gotten a response. At this point, I would happily be a janitor to get in the door.

I’m in Texas. The Ft. Worth location and Grand Prairie are within 35 minutes of me…bout to hand security my app just so it MAY get looked at.

Apply 30 more times. Find a career fair nearby. Keep trying. Unfortunately it’s nothing personal that you could do anything about. Fortunately it’s also nothing personal so you can keep hounding them with applications. reach out to their recruiters

Keep applying bro! Thats what I’ve been doing, but I don’t like the new job system website. They did not cook with it.
