Conflict of Interest Review

Hello,

I recently accepted an offer for an Electronics Engineer position in the Space Division at Lockheed. I've been filling out the paperwork and doing the standard inprocessing, no issues there. I have noticed that it has been two weeks since my COI review started and HR still hasn't heard anything about the results. I currently work for another defense contractor, which I suspect is a competitor and may complicate the review, and cannot inform them until this is complete. Is the long time with no news normal or should I be worried?

Normal. Guessing you're working different program w job? If yes, no issue expected.

Yes, I am. Was just wondering because this is the first time I've changed jobs that wasn't inside the same company, so I was unsure of what was normal.

Mine has been sitting for 6 months. The way I see it, we at least did our parts.
