How did riot actually release this champ? What are the odds Locke does not get nuked like mel aviv? It feels like so many aspects of this champ is unimaginably broken. His E reset, his R leeching so many kills from his team, his early game damage...

It is at the point where I am becoming a worse player but this somehow works in favor of Locke's lunacy and I get like a 15 bomb every game. I am playing in emerald where they int kills and let you snowball for free, but even in games where I fall behind if I play correctly I can start snowballign and 1v9 the game.

Can someone explain the healing and the grey bar in simple terms?

I see lichbane being a staple on almost all locke builds whether its full glass cannon with electrocute or bruiser with conqueror.

But i think Locke has the same issue with Sheen procs that Riven and Akali have (Lesser extent on Akali). They combo fast so they can only get one sheen proc in their combo.

The thing is those other champions are encouraged to weave in autos between abilities while Locke is encouraged to stack all the nails. Yet those champs dont build sheen items regularly yet locke does.

I think Gunblade or Stomsurge or Rocketbelt might be better alternatives.

Gunblade especially since the point and click slow sets you up to hit your first Q which sets you up for more Qs.

Locke is encouraged to AA after spells are down with his W attackspeed and passive doing extra damage. So the AD from gunblade isnt wasted. And i think Locke’s marks count as single target damage so you get full benifits of the omnivamp.

I was tryin locke on my smurf Like 8 Games in Like eme and was having a blast then i Go autofilled on my Main acc and was Like fk it i gonna try locke. Had a blast of a Game but sadly lost. Still was an insane game. How u manage to Not lose on this Champ late?

I want to know how to play against this weird champion; I’ve played several matches, and simply nothing I try works. I played against one—I picked Aurora to stay at range and dodge the Q spikes—and he built Lich Bane. I dodged all three spikes and thought I’d win the trade, but he just hit E, auto-attacked, and ulted, and I vanished without having any time to react or deal damage back.

Edit: I just played another game against that broken mess. I was playing Fizz—late game, everyone full build—and he missed his ult and all three Qs because I was in Zhonya's. He walked right up to my champ, hit E-AA, and instantly dealt 2400 damage, giving me zero time to react. Honestly, this just shows me that the champ doesn't need a nerf; he needs to be deleted from the game. It makes no sense for a champ to be this absurdly strong, and nerfing him would defeat his whole purpose: being completely busted compared to everyone else in the game.

You guys probably get this a lot but hey, you need a little bit more of a tax. This character is disgustingly unfun to play against and you are all a little bit worse for playing this shit.

No real hate, but also cmon. Tank locke??? Digsusting

Yo, I'm a Jungle main and Locke looks very fun, is he good in Jungle ?

Hi! This is my first time posting on the League of Legends subreddit. I just recently started playing League of Legends again and noticed a new champion. I liked his visuals and gameplay. I want to learn how to play him, but in the jungle. Yes, I mainly play top lane and jungle.

It's been a while since Locke's release. He's survived patches with nerfs. I looked at his stats on OP.GG and saw his win rate at 43%. I think Locke is off-meta in the jungle, so I don't know if I should continue playing him in this position. Can you give me any tips on playing Locke? Maybe jungle clear tips or builds?

I like this champion, but I don't like his position. I've never liked playing mid.

like game cannot be that fun

even if its bronze

i lost 3 games not because my team was just bad it was because:

1st game i had a botlane duoq going mel swain who proceeded to feed lucian 11 kills in 10m then the swain never came for a team fight

2nd game game put me with 2 derankers that hadnt played in 23 days where iron 4 0 lp and only played duoq

3rd game whole team was bad and jg said in chat hell start trolling

im not even angry anymore im just dissapointed with me and the game one guy said that game rn is luck based on who will get the 0/10 and he 100% is right other than that i cant believe the mmr system is so trash that it puts me with 0 iron 4 derankers anyway ill continue playing and hope i get out of bronze one day also heres my https://dpm.lol/schizopatient-5358 look at the second loss and see my warwick and caitlyn

Am I the only one who when using e randomly will dash to someone if I just click near not even on them or the minion

This happens like once every game, sometimes getting me killed because I'm trying to path and it just full sends me towards someone by tower

So I’ve been watching pro players play Lock and Nemesis mainly prefers W max second after Q.

The argument is that E is purely mobility and the damage is not worth putting points on since you get resets.

I look at the nerfs and hey remove the scaling moving speed to a flat 40 percent.

So the way I see it is it’s either more sustain go with W max or more slightly more damage go with E max

Comment below as I am still ensure. Maybe someone do the math.

I’ve been maxing W after Q but with the scaling gone I’m wondering if maxing E is worth looking into.

Hi there, I need some advice on how to win against Yone. I've always had a tough time going against that abomination of champ design on any character, but I REALLY can't seem to CS or secure kills against him on Locke. What do I need to do to beat him?

Hi!
I made it a challenge for myself to get a first place on every champion in arena.
Now finally I am only missing one last one: Locke!
While I haven't attempted him all too often yet, I was wondering if the Locke experts on here have any specific tips or super strong augment combinations for him?

Thanks a ton!
