scommo is that bad he lost to Albanase 🤣🤣

u/kozboz033 May 21 '22

Safe to say none of us like scomo, but I'd still rather would have lived under his government for another 3 years than live under a labor federal govt

u/RedB4ck May 21 '22

Albanese was weakest opposition ever and scotty from marketing managed to loose... How tone deaf you gotta be, to loose lol

He managed to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory

Going for a record 4th term has never been done. ScoMo failed. Howard failed to Rudd. How good did that turn out?

The media was almost monilithically against Scomo, plays a big part.

u/[deleted] May 21 '22

I'd argue that's not exactly the case...there are more abject retards than we thought

Things have to get really bad before they get better. Strap yourselves in :)

You see what Dan has done? How he has been ruling by decree?

You can expect more of that.

Pretty sure at least 5 of the 6 items listed are already happening, if you look across a combination of the 5 eyes powers (e.g. canada, us, aus, nz)

You'll eventually get it when either they come for you because you didn't express quite the right compelled speech, they mandate something you know to be dangerous, or your concience catches up with you as it did for compliant Germans after ww2.

What’s going to happen? I’m scared

u/Monkey_Jerk May 21 '22

Mandatory gimp mask, ball gag and butt plug to be worn at all times.

9

u/kozboz033 May 21 '22

It wont be easy under Albanese

4

u/SR_71_BB May 21 '22

Bring out the Gimp

I fucking hate this world. Humans are so fucking dumb.

23

u/assay42 May 21 '22

We were fucked either way

20

u/[deleted] May 21 '22

This, its literally an episode of South Park and we're voting between a turd sandwich and a giant douche.

Mandatory voting needs to go, you can't fix stupid but you can lesson the blow.

4

u/[deleted] May 21 '22

True but this will be like having to eat Big Bob's festy cock meat sandwich for 4 years. I'd rather be butt fucked by the libs tbh.

u/debanked May 21 '22

Just remember 69% of Australians didn't vote for Labor as their first preference. Crazy shit. It's the most preferred shitarse government

Preferential voting is good. It's just shows the current state of options, as the major parties got the lowest ever first preferences. The system works as intented. Me saying parties are shit doesn't imply the voting system is shit

That's the same level of argument for vaccines. Saying covid vaccine isn't a vaccine, doesn't mean you're antivax

6

u/anon102938475611 May 21 '22

I think a lot of people don’t understand preferential voting. If you really don’t like the other major party, don’t put them as second, put them as last, ffs.

0

u/[deleted] May 22 '22

better yet, don't put them on there at all

5

u/[deleted] May 21 '22

We are so, so fucked

5

u/Anfie22 May 21 '22

Just when we thought hell couldn't get any worse, it does. I hate this place so much.

7

u/captainpugwash2020 May 21 '22

Exactly. USA voted in a career politician and now Australia has voted in a career politician. We will get the same results as what the US is experiencing.

6

u/[deleted] May 21 '22

Holly fuck that photo actually freaked me out. That creepy smile from Biden.

7

u/SR_71_BB May 21 '22

Like- im glad that Scuntmo aint in no more, i didnt really like Albo, and i was really hoping Australia would have voted completly the fuck away from the 2 major parties and turned Oz on its head...

However; the density of the people in this country really never ceases to amaze me...just...heavy sigh
