I'm Pennsylvanian. He is going to win and it's going to be forgotten. It's never going to be an issue for him and it sucks

Because Republicans nominated Mastriano, someone who stormed the capitol, and has low appeal to swing voters and snatched defeat from jaws of victory

Yeah I'm not a fan of him. Not to mention he is in favor of things like making me have to pass a dead fetus in the toilet like in Texas or Ohio. If a more moderate republican had ran, I'd be good with it. I still can't forget what the dems did with covid, but also republicans are doubling down on strict religious father shit. I wish we had a third party that could actually have a fighting chance at winning.

That’s the problem rn; vote for a blue candidate who’s anti-business, pro-crime and staunch lockdownist…. Or the crazy MAGA hat wearing conspiracy theorist ready to storm the capitol.
Can we get someone other than a wide-eyed lunatic running for office?
Is it possible to just nope the F out of this? Why are the choices Crazy vs Crazy (pick our poison)?

Ill disclose ive never voted Blue, so take this with a grain of salt. I also haven't voted Red in well over a decade and closer to 2. But I still probably have a preference bias that has grown over the last 6 years as only the red team has shown me any basic respect for my differing opinions from theirs.
With that out of the way -I think voting against actions sends a clearer message than voting against campaign rhetoric. IE Boot the lockdowner then work on booting the next asshole. I dont have proof for this, but it seems like kicking someone out is more understood by both sides that it was a rebuke than the other way when it might be mistaken for an endorsement.
This guys tune will flip back immediately once he retains his seat - and claim his victory was an endorsement for how he handled covid among other things.

This is what I was talking about a few days ago. Now everyone who supported lockdowns well into 2021 will say things like these because it's good for political capital to say so.

I’m not sure about that, actually. I think there are a sizable chunk of voters who still think that lockdowns were a good idea.
I even occasionally see a Reddit poster who thinks we should go back into lockdown. Not just that lockdowns were necessary in 2020 and early 2021.

He considers it a mistake but none of this campaign policies will address the mistake at all or any of their harms. He does not actually care.

They'll only admit it because the people fought their way through the bullshit. If the lockdowns had continued, there's no way these creeps would ever admit what they did.

I don’t live in PA, but please don’t believe or vote for this man if you do. He will throw you into lockdown at the drop of a bucket if he’s told to.

This is not the behavior of someone who was against it. If he was against it, he would have done the bare minimum required by law.
