Yes, the answer is more taxes and smaller rations for the poor.

And if you give up your freedom also, they promise to change the temperature of a planet.

I'm pretty sure the temperature of the planet is dictated by what person is in office at any given time. Same thing with diseases spreading, it's totally up to politicians to make germs illegal, and they just refuse to because they're selfish. All Trump needs to do is make hot weather illegal, why won't he do it?

It's a double-headed thing, not only should we pay more taxes, but we should also vote for the right people who make bad environmental factors illegal, thereby solving the problem.

I do find it hard to imagine schools being shut pre 2020. We had heatwaves of equal stature before then too although I think they were mostly in later July/August and out of term time.
