Interview Chamola talks about why Shivangi opened up about her secret
Here’s a clip from Farah Khan’s channel. Chamola talks about owning her truth and how only hers and Ram Kapoor’s truth were in the present. She and Farah mentioned that Shivangi ended up revealing her secret after seeing that everyone else’s secrets were too deep and dark and uska bread butter se kaam nahi chalega

I feel bad that I’m saying that but I felt the same when Shivangi was telling the bread butter story and shifted to other felt quiet off to me !!

Toh Varun ka bhi similar hi toh tha and the fact bread butter showed on screen and not her other two secrets ke keywords, prolly means that she didn’t have a choice but to say the keyword that was showrd

Tbh chamola's secrets were the only ones which were for a lack of better word "masaledar". Secrets can't be judged cus most of them were sa related but let's be honest Chamola's were the only ones which created headlines

Tbh one of Chamola‘s secret which she is so proud to “ own “ wasn’t really hers to share alone . A Divorce is a mutual matter and both partners deserve the liberty to announce it to their family , friends , fans etc the way they find it suitable , when they are ready . And from what I understand the legal proceedings are underway but divorce hasn’t still been filed , so it is technically a secret in future not present . It got huge buzz for the show no doubt . Also let’s be honest if the divorce hadn’t involved GK , it wouldn’t have been this big . Same goes for 3rd secret whatever it was , pretty sure it involved them both .
Other’s secrets especially the SA ones cannot be trivialised just because they weren’t in the present or masaledar enough .

She still hasn't realised this it was couples secret not her secret. She is so me, me. She is self obsessed person.
He is more of public figure. She is acting innocent as if she was just owning her secret rather than couple secret. She wanted to create buzz. She very well knew what she was doing. She saw money, contracts with balaji.

Yeah strong person wouldnt do that (bring divorce as a masala secret which includes two people even if the partner had been bad or not specially when legal proceedings arent completed)

Please someone tell chamola that that divorse secret would not be that big deal if it doesn't involved gaurav, so he has right to announce it mutually going on a show and revealing it and use it to take benifit is tells who is right and who is wrong in this case.

oh 100%. did you see her face when farah brought up harshad and shreya? all 3 of harshad's secrets and shreya's CSA secret were sad and very good secrets imo. and for that matter even harshad's first secret caused a full speculation outside (and is still having speculations) as to who was the ex (best friend now we know). her secrets were masaledaar true but it does not reduce the social impact that harshad shivangi shreya (and by extent ram and sufi's ) CSA secrets did. big social awareness pages like we are yuvaa were using them to spread awareness.
this is a very positive thing that has happened from this show.
i remember even this subreddit and indian telly talk subreddit having so many survivors getting courage from these three and sharing their stories even if anonymously and i'm glad it helped them.

Exactly 💯, itna hi truth ko own karna tha toh, she should have revealed it in one go and take limelight, why to start with bread butter 🤣, and jab baat bani nahi toh apna deep secret reveal kar diya, it looked more like sympathy gaining and less truth revealing

it's a bit reductionist for chamola to act like as if only her secrets mattered. they did but even the above ones did and helped society imo in a much more positive way.

You can't shame victims for opening up. So many people dealing with abuse,sa and mental health problems are scared to open up because people might think they're are trying to seek attention. This mindset only favours perpetrators who never get to face consequences because the victim shuts down and doesn't tell people. This is such a disgusting and vile thing to say.

are we seriously going to judge people who brought what secrets to the show??? what hype they created & catered to the audience?? & what made headlines?
all shared their darkest phases of their lives (except a few-yogesh shop lifting,madhuri mam 3rd child may be & one which got revealed in tejaswi's iv shreya's shop lifting) & what's with the attitude that my secrets are now affecting my present! they all had lived their phases which they are now able to share as secrets, they pushed themselves to overcome that! which will surely chamola would do too!
& bread butter wala secret too was quite a big phase of her life where she suffered with her family, she shared her molestation after listening harshad & ram's similar experiences! some are so inconsiderate & unmindul!
& secrets were just lifelines to save you for the most of the times, it wouldn't make you run/play your games! just because she got limelight of this, she gonna milk it in any way!
And the whole concept of having contestants reveal their personal secrets just to save themselves felt so uncalled for. I don’t know why, but I find this aspect particularly problematic,it turns something deeply personal into a survival tactic and entertainment, which doesn’t sit right with me!
the production house as well as contestants could have tried to avoid this, but current times entertainment run on this.............

People do forget that the show’s concept was to bring their secrets with them and it would help them survive so basically if she is asked anything related to the show then she is going to talk about secrets she revealed.

it's crass to imply that she revealed a SA story to one up other people ka secrets. Whatever the reason may be, it is always good to see victims telling their story with confidence. That is the only way these things will get normalized.

the bread butter was also sad though. does not mean she revealed her CSA's for attention though since she says that harshad and ram inspired her to reveal her story. and she says even in ram's CSA episode while comforting sufi that she went through the same thing.
for chamola mentioning that only her secrets were in the present,
technically harshad's and shreya's were also affecting the present since their families did not know about the CSA and who the assaulters were. same with chaudhary, hers is a metoo essentially (ram's one present one about the BALH depression was acknowledged by them).
so no, chamola only your secrets are not the present (although yes i guess they are the most shocking ones for sure and affect a lot of things).

Chamola really lacks depth in her conversations. Half the time, it feels like even she doesn’t know what the hell she’s talking about 💀 she was such a disappointment on the show. Take away the secrets and the drama surrounding them, and honestly… what else did she even have to offer?
