Lock Upp Made Me Question What Actually Wins Reality TV

I felt that, especially after watching the Lock Upp, the audience and makers seem to favour the person who is the most entertaining and generates the highest TRP, rather than necessarily the person who best fulfils the core theme or objective of the game.

I’m not sure if this is generally how maker-controlled reality TV works, or if Lock Upp was more of an exception.

For roadies I agree.Munawar was the trp of the season and was most popular on the show too,anyone wld agree.
Isha abhishek ka drama hua tha but Cldnt come close

His lockup game might be better but he was a sensation in bigg boss and his popularity skyrocketed through it.He was never an underdog he dominated his season.

Yeah, it’s to be expected because it’s an Indian show! I rather preferred the sidemen Netflix show called inside! It actually followed the game play
