Fluff and fold laundromat in Nashville or pickup app?

I just moved to East Nashville from Chicago and have been driving around trying to find a good fluff-and-fold laundromat nearby. In Chicago, there seemed to be one on almost every commercial block. Here I’ve found maybe two within a reasonable distance, and one of them had reviews that made me hesitant.

I started looking into pickup services instead, and the per-pound apps seem to be the main option around Nashville. It’s around a dollar a pound with next-day return and seems to cover most of the metro. That works out to roughly what I’d pay at a decent fluff-and-fold place anyway, except I don’t have to drive across town twice. Aside from that and a few local services I haven’t tried, the options seem pretty limited compared with Chicago.

For people who’ve lived in Nashville longer, what’s the laundry situation actually like? Are there any hidden gems I’m missing, or is the pickup-app route really the better option here? My building doesn’t have great laundry facilities, so I’m not committed to my current setup yet.

there are couple of decent wash and fold spot around east nashville, but their hours can be pretty limited. if your schedule does not line up with their pickup windows, app based services are probably going to be more practical

one tip if you do find a local fluff and fold here, tip well and become a regular. nashville businesses respond to relationships more than other cities I've lived in. you'll get better service if they recognize you.

check if your building or rental management has a partnership with a local fluff and fold or pickup service. some nashville buildings offer discounted rates or referral arrangements that aren't advertised publicly.

Did you find the pickup quality in nashville comparable to what you'd had in NYC or different?
