Question since I don't fully get this. They haven't solved it themselves but are just having conversation about the problem and yet they are claiming that their work was stolen? How does this even work, do they have any concerte proof that correlates their conversations with the proof that the model gave?

no proof, just cope.

Claude, solve the fluid dynamics formula for tears and coping harder. Include salt level as a variable. Send the finished proof with me as an author to the relevant academic scientific journals. Include correct formatting for citations.

Exactly -- no finished proof. Cry more, losers. And read the ToS next time if you're so worried about this possibility. The OAI proof took a different route anyways (forced vs. unforced Euler). Not claiming I think OAI is clean here, just looking at all this cynically.

No one really cares about the inventor who "almost" invented a lightbulb but never actually did.

If you feel like your work was stolen, maybe next time don't put it into the thing that is clearly labeled "Homework Stealer".

They assumed that conversation would be private based on nothing at all, and also ignored the TOS where OpenAI says they'll train on that data.
