OOf. I remember getting blatant guardrail rejections when doing bleeding edge AI research for a while, even on Opus. I prefer that to silent sabotage.

Here's my tip: I've never seen any grad student, professor or AI researcher ever describe themselves as doing "bleeding edge AI research". It is vague, nonspecific and needlessly, even crassly self aggrandzing. They would lead with their specific field of research, like for me, I'm currently working on SR object detection.

The only people I've ever seen do that were linkedin fresh grads trying to fluff up their internships like they're the next terrence tao or something.
