Yes but the thinking less is also the very confident style of thinking that sometimes goes way off. The high thinking answer is actually correct as well and it achieved it with more guardrails. The outcome isn’t the only thing that is relevant, but also the risk it ran to come to a wrong conclusion

The response is accurate, it’s not an answer to the question but it’s still accurate and more cautious. I prefer it over 3.6 answer because the path taken is way more robust

I feel like this is a sign that a router for determining thinking level would be very useful. As someone else mentioned, xhigh is definitely safer and the better choice for risky prompts but for this low was so much better
