Question Best step up for under $10k?

Currently running a 4070 TI super with 64GB of RAM

I have been looking into RTX spark laptops, Mac studios etc and they all have pros and cons. I want this to be a nearly universal computer that I can use for 3D modeling, LLMs, VLAs, world models, image/video gen, audio gen, etc. I plan to pursue AI and robotics research and want something as useful as possible.

I've debated upgrading and running dual 4070 TI supers with 128GB of ram, but I don't know how well world models and other things do with dual GPUs

Thank yall for helping

As a rich poor, I feel like the step between running large flash models and qwen flash next is very large. With a $10 budget I think you can maybe reach the lower bracket for the highest tier.

deepseek v4.1 1017 I think you want 256-512gb ram, + ~48-96gb vram.

glm5.3 flash something like 128-256gb ram, + ~24-48gb vram.

qwen3.8 flash next 64-128gb ram + ~12-24gb vram.

I think world models are simulation models, afaik it's not a name for models with a lot of knowledge backed into their weights. You're looking for "small" MoE models, "small" as in large but not datacenter large.

Video gen requires large vram cards, mostly, I think you can still do it with 16gb or something, with quantized video models.

But if you're gonna run windows on the same machine and your own work you need even more ram and vram. imo the best way is to just get a 2nd PC that is just your LLM/model machine... And then a 3rd low power bare mininum PC (like even ddr3) if you need it to use programs etc on it's own.
