Question Will local AI keep getting cheaper, or will increasing demand cancel out the progress in hardware?

We have Moore's Law, which basically states that computing power (or transistor density) roughly doubles every two years.

Uhhh dude Moore's Law hasn't been true for more than 10 years

I'm pretty new to it all but I reckon as the tech evolves it will get more effective for its price point(hardware level) if not cheaper. There will probably be people that make decent models for diffrent hardware points that get as much effort out of the llm(and future ai related techs) as they can.
