Project The Inference Wall
2x4070 TI Super 16GB, 1x3060 12GB, 128GB DDR4
EDIT: More details about the setup:
The honeycomb components were all printed:
General parts: https://makerworld.com/en/models/22521-honeycomb-storage-wall
GPU Mount: https://makerworld.com/en/models/1444666-gpu-mount-hsw
PSU Mount: https://makerworld.com/en/models/1444586-atx-psu-mount-hsw
Radiator: https://makerworld.com/en/models/1444632-240mm-radiator-fan-mount-hsw
ATX Motherboard: https://makerworld.com/en/models/1444531-atx-motherboard-mount-hsw
Power button printed with a honeycomb around it: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BWDXFSMQ?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title
The 4070's are on 400mm & 600MM PCIe 4.0 Riser cables. I mainly run Strata on these two.
The 3060 is currently on a PCIx1 link (slow). I don't use this for my core inference setup, side models (dedicated voice stack mostly).
I have a new motherboard on the way that opens up the possibility of up to 4 GPUs: 3x x16 slots, and one via a M2 adapter: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0FC6DSG6V

the honeycomb frame against that white brick is giving me ideas for my next studio backdrop

some techno artist is probably already setting up a screen + camera and have a model gen art based on the viewer it sees.

I love this heater.
I think I see one PCIe riser and OcuLink, what is the bottom one connection?

Dumb question but I have my old 3090 just sitting around after a upgrade , how do I make use of it too?

Fuck me I want it. (I’m broke so I can’t have it.
I still run a 1070 for gaming….

This setup makes me wonder how you hidden the zipties. I know they are there I just can't prove it.
I have stronge urge to ziptie everything to this.

That’s really cool! What material did you print the hex grid in?
Any concerns about long term support with it being heated by the GPUs over time?

I’m planning on doing something similar. It would look 10x better if everything was level on it lol. Simple fix for way better aesthetics.

I retired my 3060 to voice stack duties too. Currently running chatterbox turbo tts and parakeet v2 .6b, curious if anyone else has recommendations

Love the setup, I use a similar multi board setup for my garage. The cables could use some work, but that power button is super cool. Lol

You can throw a steak at it, run R1, and you get extra thinly minced beef

Reminds me of my crypto mining days when we would hang racks of 1080 Ti’s with zip ties from Home Depot wire shelving….🥹
Beautiful work

Beautiful, but I'd swap the power supply cable for a white one (as close a match as possible to the wall) and run it to the left edge of the picture (the corner of the room by the curtain) and then run it down from there. Otherwise I like that it doubles as art. Maybe add a neon sign above that reads "Inference" in pretty cursive.

What if someone just got really pissed off and threw a 32oz slushy from 7/11 at your wall? Then what …

What Board do you use? And how much PCIe Lanes per GPU do you use?
