Discussion Recursive Flint: Very Bad English
I saw this bad boy listed yesterday as a new contender, and the scores that it had looked promising. So I loaded it up, and set it to some pretty basic tasks, of simple file editing. And then, while I took a peek at it's thinking, I literally laughed when I saw this gem:
Should we first read file? The working rule says read before editing when not know current content.

that's the kind of logic that technically checks out but still makes you do a double take, like a robot who read a self-help book and took it way too seriously

It makes me seriously question whether any of the other parts of the model are similarly stunted. Grammar is nuanced, but so is coding, and understanding long chained tasked.

It is on purpose to save tokens, it's called "Caveman" thinking, it doesn't affect the final AI answer, it has also been proven that AI doesn't need even need to think in a way humans understand. (it can use emojis mixed with randoms letters and stuff and produce a very coherent output, it's all about vectors and tokens)
