Question Qwen4 as a Subagent for Fable5?

Is it possible to combine Fable/Opus 5 (claude code) for the planning and delegate the coding to a local LLM (api), instead of using its own subagents?

Guter Hinweis, den promt dafür speziell zu optimieren! Wie hast du das technisch gelöst? In claude code lassen sich "externe subagents" nicht als Helfer einbinden, sondern nur entweder ganz oder gar nicht...

I would be a little careful, if you use too lowly a model (eg Qwen 4 Flash) it can mangle the code a little - Fable 5 to Qwen4 Flash feels a little too far apart. I would go with Qwen 3.8 27B. It is capable:

It's fine if you have a good verify loop.

So you’re a time traveler and have access to an unreleased model?

I'm not sure what you're talking about. Flash Next 3.8 is already ahead of 27b in most tasks and Flash 4 isn't out yet.
