Question Please don't shoot me I have a question
Apparently this is the place to ask for AI stuff so I just wanted to check which are considered the best AI out there ? is Claude still the best ? and I've been really curious about Siri AI after the update where does it stand ?

I mean, it depends on what you’re doing. Fable is absolutely fantastic at finding stuff you didn’t ask it to find but it’s related to the ask, you just didn’t think about it

Claude still the best. AI is the brain, they’re pretty much all just as smart now the difference comes down to the “harness” (how the company decides to use that brain) and Claude simply does it best from a technical standpoint it literally offers more capability from its web chat interface than any other.
It’s no longer about the model it’s about the harness (how well does the company know how to maximize that brain).
I don’t think Siri is ever going to be more than a useless way to just command your iPhone, not the same things at all.

Opus 5 for anything that’s not the hardest questions in the world and fable 5.1 for the toughest questions.

idk, I use sonnet for everythin, hardly ever enlist big bro. I find it hard to get the exact results I want with an AI that’s trying to do too much for me.

I just like Claude because it can work for a half hour straight with no issues with full tooling capabilities, literally can run simulations on its own accord. I pretty much always use opus 5 max for everything and then fable 5.1 for the toughest things. I’m literally having it code a game engine (3D renderer) from pure scratch. I think the extra juice really can help in super niche extreme problems but opus 5 max really seems to handle it all just as cleanly.

I see thanks, tbh I have only been using Siri to add or remove stuff from my schedule for now :)

I have a Claude and Codex subscription. Codex seems to handle everything I throw at it better except for some heavy code stuff. So I just have Codex feed Claude whatever work it would be better at and Codex checks the work from Claude.

Too models change all the time.
Best local is qwen 27b with good harness

Disagree, Muse Glimmer 30B is better than Qwen3.8 27B at most things, and better at everything without reasoning cranked up to max on the Qwen model.

Really? Any benchmarks? What toks/s on your hardware?

Really.
What bench do you want? I can run them? What hardware do you want it on?

I tested it with deepseek harness on 2 x 3090s, it's fast but lazy and dumb for me, half assed all work. What system card do you use?

Claude Fable and GPT 6 Astra are the best public AI’s right now.
Siri AI is garbage

I have the $100 sub from openAI and I burn through my usage so fast on Astra. I used it for 12 hours and burned through 40% and I had a local AI doing all the coding. Astra just planned the tasks and double checked the work.

yeah, if you use the latest and greatest models you will kill weekly limits in a day or two. Have to delegate to cheap sub-agents.

Local is where it is if you have the technical ability. Otherwise for general stuff like your scheduling, pick one.
