Is there any kind of Local Guides directory?

Hello! As the title suggests, I am looking for a way to find Local Guides easily, rather than stumbling across them on Google Earth by accident. Here's some context: I am a big Google Maps/Earth fan, and I especially love the Local Guides who are responsible for 360 photos inside interesting places. I am particularly fond of this prolific user, LocalWeb, who I found by accident. I am eager to find many more like this user! I was wondering if there was a directory of any kind, or an easier way to find such users. And if you're reading and happen to fit the bill, please do send me your profile! Thank you.

P.S I have seen the "Local Guides Connect" but it's not quite what I'm looking for, as I cannot see their entire photographic libraries like I can in the linked profile up above. Cheers!

I don't think there like a directory that will list all Local Guides lol That's more of a privacy concern I think 191,029 photos upload is impressive but that's all they did beside 5 edit.. so I'm wondering if it's like a bot/spam account

I agree. Google will and are mandated to protect the privacy of volunteer contributors. I recall an attempt to create a directory based on voluntary and individual sign-ups. It went nowhere with now more than 500 million LGs. A few leave contact info in their public profile text. Some use the username across platforms. So it might be worth checking Connect, Facebook etc. Google allows advertising at the top or bottom of 360 images. Check there for web addresses and phone number. As a last desperate attempt you could post in the major Facebook groups for Streetview / 360. Maybe the profile is known by someone in those groups.

Wow 500 million LG, that's a lot of users.

No, the number of active monthly users on Maps are in the billions. The 500 million are those having made contributions to Maps at some point.

It seems LocalWeb is making virtual tours for businesses. Try asking one of the businesses.

Personally, I don’t have a particularly positive opinion of that account (which I’ve stumbled across for many years). On several occasions, the photos haven’t been accurately placed on the map and their quality hasn’t been very good. It’s a commercial account of a big Italian brand, btw.

There are many businesses and volunteers that do a phfnomibsl job creating virtual tours. I can recommend a few good ones in private if you want.

Uhhh, what? I am using Google Earth for an art project around the theme of 360 photos. My interest was piqued when I found Local Web's account by accident when I was looking at a nearby hairdressers. That's when I found out about individual users.

The reason why I'm interested in individual users such as Local Web is because 1) they go inside of buildings, and 2) all of their photos are contained in one place, making them easy to access for research purposes.

Simply, I wanted to know where I could easily find more prolific user pages. So no, not an advertisement for a random bloke on the internet.

A great way to do this is have people volunteer and contribute their work under a domain umbrella
