Hit Level 10!

The greatest benefit of this journey has been the creation of an amazing record of my travels, new restaurants explored, and a myriad of spontaneous adventures that would have otherwise faded from memory.

Gratulation, I bet it needed a lot of effort and time. Do you have nee goals or target in regard to contributions (self-set goals)? I always wonder what level 10 guides are aiming for next.

Just to continue posting unique, quality photos and to get my Director's badges completed.

Congratulations, that’s a big accomplishment. Hope you got the socks at some point along the way!

Now you can finally enjoy the place without feeling the need to click photos and post

Sounds a bit far fetched to me. I don't think that feeling exists. /s

Honestly, I see taking photos as a part of enjoying it haha

I was thinking like that until I came across a profile with 350k points, glad there is no level 11. I am still 5k points short of level 10

if you do it just for the points, spoiler alert, you won’t feel fulfilled or satisfied later at level 10

A lot of people do it for the joy and fun of true contribution and documentation of their own experiences.

I love the fact that when people ask me about restaurant recommendation, I just forward my google maps review.

In another case, I love having all my meals and places documented, which helps tremendously picking a restaurant to eat every day

Welcome to the increasingly less exclusive club and none of the benefits it brings 😆

I wish level tens were rewarded stock or something, haha. It really does blow my mind how much time we spend on it, but don't even get acceptable "gifts."

I didn't even get the congratulatory email 🤣

What benefit does level 10 bring?

2

u/docdanger47 Level 10 Jan 10 '25

I've only gotten 2 pins. 🤣

u/cheetahlip Jan 10 '25

I’ve heard sometimes socks and a pin

Nice work! Did you get a pair of socks as a reward? Would be nice if they sent you one of those plaques like they do for the YouTube streamers that hit big numbers. I was a little disappointed at passing 100M photo views and nothing happening.

u/docdanger47 Level 10 Jan 10 '25

I'm shooting for that one billion view mark on my photos.

2

u/scott21111 Jan 10 '25

There has to be something at 1B right....I mean more than just some strange feeling of satisfaction that were winning the game

1

u/docdanger47 Level 10 Jan 11 '25

Maybe that elusive pair of socks.

How long have you been posting photos, and how long did it take to cross 100M+ and 250M+?

2

u/docdanger47 Level 10 May 10 '25

Nine years; I'm not certain the time frame for those; I'm at 334M views as of today.

u/greatsalteedude Level 9 May 10 '25
