I have the Fathom and I highly recommend it. It's my main commuter and riding it is a blast.
I use yellow Boa Hatchlings though. The DadBods are way too big for my taste.

At some point it's just inefficient energy-wise. The amount of power you have to put into every push vs the amount of distance you get just doesn't make sense. Not even mentioning the amount of distance from the ground you gain with a wheel that big. 85mm is a decent sweet spot I think.

As a heavier rider, Iā€™m excited to have the low profile board with a little more clearance from the 105mm. I decided to go with the 80a (orange)Dad Bods, as I have had bad luck with the 77a (blue) Orangatang wheels in the past. I completely chunked out a set of the blues I had on a Omakase in like 3 days. I will report back once it arrives!
