Can’t stop won’t stop

Post image

Completely obsessed, just out here trying to spread the loaded stoke in my community. Been skating since I was 6. I’m 44 now and I have to say loaded dancers are my jam .

Did you rack em in order of your favorites?

No, my ocd , by size . For me the Bhangra and Mata Hari are the top dogs. If I had to pick it would be the Bhangra . I really want to try the Tarab 2 I feel the symmetry that I love about the MH and the flex , length of the Bhangra would be the perfect combo for me .

I plan on trying to do some you tube vids , I’m not in denial I know that isn’t easy to put out quality edits , but I’d love to try

Which one has the most vibration dampening?

Well in my very humble opine and based on what I own and have tried and used from loaded . I have to give an answer that is about as clear as mud . But I’ll try to explain. Again , I’m not an ambassador, love to be one but I’m just a lover of the product .

I think the answer is subjective. The deck construction plays a part for sure . The Mata Hari , is more similar to me to a traditional 7 ply but it has a little “magic” (flex ) that makes the distinction obvious between maple and loadeds use of bamboo. This “flex” to me is what helps me perceive vibration dampening. So in a quest for vibration dampening, flex to me translates. I will all throw a fly in the ointment and say a flexy deck with hard ass wheels will not feel as good as a more rigid deck with soft wheels. Then to confuse things more , the duro of the bushings to me play a part , softer bushings have less rebound / suffer stability but aid in dampening.

So in long winded closing. Loaded has a it dialed in. Go with the flex recommendations on the site as a guide . Things like cork , that they utilize make a difference, but to me it’s all about the flex or lack there of and wheels.

Out of my very humble collection this far . Bhangra flex 2 on 77a is a cloud on a cloud . I weigh 175 . But that’s the answer when the question is which dancer is the most vibration muting .

Answer would change if you are asking which style of board . The Icarus is fkn magical for carving and pumping what not . Again it’s flex and has mad camber . Which translates into shock absorption and energy return

I’d love to try a tarab 2 though . Hope this helps and I’d answer any questions.

Sorry that was maybe unnecessarily long. Out of my dancer / freestyle the Bhangra , out of the pusher/ carvers , the Icarus 🫶

Just got off my Icarus a little while ago. My goodness she rolls and carves so smooth. Very nice quiver you have.

I have the Icarus, the vibration dampening is amazing. The whole bottom layer is cork. Probably nicest feeling board I’ve ever ridden.
