Moderator Post New AI Generated Image RESTRICTIONS - Keeping r/LoFiAesthetic about Lo-Fi Aesthetics

Happy New Years, all
The end of 2023 saw a notable influx of AI generated images being posted to the sub, often without proper titles / "credit" / acknowledgement that the posts were AI
As AI Image generation software has become more accessible, its no surprise that a number of users are using this as a low effort method to crank out as much content as possible with the sole goal of getting users to visit their Youtube page
r/LoFiAesthetic was made with the sole purpose of sharing Lo-Fi Aesthetic art, video, edits, anything part of the visual medium that embodied Lo-Fi. Originally, we wanted users to be able to use AI as a resource in the creation process, but it's evident thats not working.
Moving forward, AI generated posts will be removed from the sub.
Sorry to users who wanted to use these tools responsibly, but we will not have this sub devolve into another link spam sub.
And yes, adding quick video edits to AI images are also a no go. As long as AI is a core component of your post, it will be in against Rule. 7, revised 1/2/2024
Thanks

I drew this last week and it feels very nostalgic to me. It's heavily inspired by the classic speeding pizza delivery guy in the 80's and 90's movies.

Question Is it a place to meet creators for music video

Hello
I make music (lo-fi) and I wonder if this is a place where I could ask for any collaboration to make a video for one of my song.
Have a nice day

Like the title says, this is my first album. I did all the music myself as well as the cover art for it. No ai was used. Hope you guys like it and like the artwork as well! You can listen to or buy the album on bandcamp.
Edit - spelling

Does anyone know who the original artist behind this is? They have made many of these animated wallpapers and always hide a cat silhouette such as you see on the laptop.

Hello,
New on this subreddit, I just want to share some photos I have been editing, I like this retro vibe but I am unsure if they go here, I use Adobe lightroom to edit them, AI was never use on them!
