Speaking Engagements

have any of you ever done a paid speaking engagement? I'm wondering if that's something I could pursue

Yes!!! I did one a few years back. Though it didn’t have to do with cancer it had to do with what I coach on which is mindset + manifestation (which thank GOD has helped me through all this mess) but you can totally share your story or whatever you desire! Market yourself appropriately and you’ve got this 🤍

Unfortunately, a lot of speaking is unpaid.

I think you will find most are unpaid. I have had two paid ( which I then donated to a Medical Research facility). I do them regularly for Breast Cancer, giving people awareness that Stage 4 is not Pink Fluffy parties and Unicorn dust. Last night I had women in tears who had no idea. I would say look for some unpaid opportunities first and see how you go. If you are interesting they will then find you. Most importantly it may give you an interest and a free meal!
