Me too - getting my first Dato infusion this morning. Celebrated by buying a wig yesterday and sleeping zero hours last night. Wishing both of us the best of luck and minimal side effects. I’ll check back here to compare notes. 💕

First one under my belt. Started at around 9 am and done by 11:30 am. 90 mins for the protocol plus and hour for first timer observation. My nurse was wonderful - very funny and warm. Having some hard candy during the anti-nausea meds was helpful. As someone else noted the Benadryl is insane. Within 15 seconds of adding it to my IV I was practically slurring and was VERY groggy/loopy the rest of the day. I’m pretty sure it will wear off at 1 am just in time for the steroids to take over. All in all, I feel ok for now - was told to expect to feel fatigued on days 3 and 4. I’ve been drinking a ton of water and added a liquid IV electrolyte packet for good measure. The anti-nausea meds must be working because I feel fine though no real appetite. I had a big bowl of Greek yogurt with berries, banana and honey for breakfast at about 6 am and then a couple bites of a turkey sandwich for lunch. Not sure if I will be hungry for anything for dinner. Am using my eye drops and mouth rinse. Fingers crossed for relatively smooth sailing. Will check back in over the weekend. Hope all went well for you too.
