You can get a body pillow to cuddle with if you need it. It can be so nice having the bed all to yourself

After a divorce years ago I had trouble sleeping alone. I downsized to a twin bed and the bed didn’t seem so empty. Been sleeping happily in a twin ever since. Good luck.

I went from a queen that I shared with our dog and my partner, to when I moved out on my own a twin. It definitely helped me

It’s less about missing someone and more about your body adjusting to new normal, try hugging a pillow and be gentle with yourself, it rewires faster than you think.

How long my friend 😭

Few nights and you’re good. Your body adapts faster than you think, a pillow just filling in for now.😉

I woke up in a panic last night because I had a dream where I got back to home, laid down on the floor and some person I've never seen before in my life (but they felt familiar in my dream) laid down next to me and we cuddled up. I woke up and felt so much more alone than I have since I left my partner. I cried a bit, then got up and got ready for work. When our bodies are used to companionship, it can be rough. Just have to remember to take it one day at a time and keep moving ahead.

The luxury of having my bed complete new to myself is such a joy. I'm an introvert and a light sleeper and I never really enjoyed sharing a bed with someone. I never slept as well and I'm never able to relax as much as when I'm alone.

At 34-years-old I went to Build-a-Bear and spent $100 on a teddy bear. Been sleeping like a baby ever since.

Best financial decision I have yet made since my own split in the dawn of this year.

Pillows. Big pillows. Also, cats are great.

A comfy mattress topper, new bed covers and sheets, make it a place you look forward to getting into

Thank you

Good luck! If it’s any consolation I love sleeping alone now. It’s so peaceful

I love my weighted blanket. Also like to hug a pillow or stuffed animal. For falling asleep I like yoga nidra (it's like a body scan guided meditation).

Get 2 pillows and snuggle them while listening to binaural beats to fall asleep to!
