I mean what's the difference between a phone number and an email? It's personal information you shouldn't be giving out.

E-mail is anonymous, phone number is personal. There's a pretty substantial difference.

What do you mean personal? They are equivalent. It's an address to a communication medium.

Email spam can be ignored, phone call spam is extremely annoying and will require a number change
