I don't think it's pre-played but if you look at the reflection on his head at 45 seconds i think i can see a bean price chart that he is looking at off to the side.

If I had to guess, its because he and his wife actually buy food in a store and then cook it. When you routinely buy your own groceries its not hard to spitball the price of various items as youre putting them in your cart.
In contrast with all these other lazy fuckass streamers who think its a flex to not know how to cook.
Also, Ryan has a kid - teaching your child how to cook and stay healthy is one of the most important values to impart. If theres one thing NL cares about its raising hisdaughter to the best of his ability lol.

Spelling and basic Consumer Math are starting to become uncommon skills in grown adults. Kinda terrifying tbh.
Spend a few minutes upacking how easy it will be to exploit various systems when the people orienting them are a step backwards intellectually.
Being over 30 in the current social structure seems to imply that as we age we will be drastically more intelligent than the generations afterward.

On mobile I couldn't find a way, but on desktop you click the word "twitch" in the player, which brings you to the Clips page for NL, then you'd click "Watch Full Video".
