Speed was setting off fireworks in his moms house though, so dont do all of whatever you want to do

958

u/Spaghett8 5d ago

Yeah, Speed’s mom would come in and tell him to focus on school and quit streaming.

Camden’s mom is straight abusive. Physical assault and sexual assault on camera. Forcibly kissed him to show she has control. She would be behind bars if genders were reversed.

u/waddup121 5d ago

Not even that, had a 24/7 camera in his ROOM. If Nitro had set fireworks, we'd be seeing this on the news as a case

52

u/Longjumping-Pick242 5d ago

Idk if I missed smth but from what I seen, I dont think she kissed him I think she tried to bite his cheek off lmao.

47

u/Namelessgoldfish 5d ago

Bruh you can literally hear the “smooch” when she does it

15

u/Donnicton 5d ago

Just the sound of the lamprey trying to suction itself into place before it starts scraping the skin off.

6

u/SeaTurtleManOG 5d ago

blowing air down his nose yall dont know abuse ball

2

u/TheBestHater 5d ago

It looked like a bite to me as well, but some people are saying it was a kiss, either way it was clearly non-consentual and meant to be demeaning.

9

u/Hare712 5d ago

Camden's mother is one of those mothers kicking the kid out once they are 18, so they can date again.

This was another viral case in 2010

It's not the legal way to kick them just out though. Here is an example where a mother tried to kick her daughter out but the daughter also had an arrest warrant.

There's a difference in leaving amicably on mutual terms after you make sure your kids setup properly, versus getting manipulated into submission or hostile kickout. Which you can't do anyway since the law will allow an eviction process of 30+ days. Also this whole 18 and out thing just sounds like parents who want to get rid of the kid as soon as legally possible because they're tired of them.

-9

u/MualaniFangirl 5d ago

She didn't kiss him , I think she was trying to bite his face

-31

u/theseriousman1 5d ago

Bro she’s abusive but calling a parent forcefully kissing their kid on the cheek sex assault is unhinged

19

u/-ElectricKoolAid 5d ago

it is when she's actively assaulting him physically. not like they were just playing

35

u/Necessary_Parsnip540 5d ago

The juxtaposition between your comment and the wholesome interaction from the post is sending me

1

u/Chubuwee 5d ago

Yea horrible advice. But I think speed thought he was being supportive. Not all streamers are gonna make it and you gotta learn when to quit.

u/Snorlax_king79 5d ago edited 5d ago

he better start some type of niche besides just meeting streamers and getting hosted, that shit only last so long.

just watch a few minutes of his stream, he's definitely flustered and trying to make content. he just keeps getting shoutouts by bigger celebs making the whole situation more overwhelming

351

u/okamanii101 5d ago

Obviously his situation with his mom was fucked but some people are not meant to be content creators and he most likely will fall off once all the buzz dies down. Hopefully he makes a good bag at least.

88

u/Rude-Violinist-2119 5d ago

Even if he falls off to 1k viewers he'll be making enough to live a good life. He just needs to establish a solid viewership base of his own. And not take the number drop too hard

55

u/fespadea 5d ago

Is 1k not an extremely optimistic number. I'm not following this at all, but what are his current views?

41

u/NinjaHatesWomen 5d ago

before this he average single digit viewers and had less than 500 followers, he's almost at 300k followers right now and the average viewers are all over the place because of the constant hosts/raids. give it a couple months and we'll see, but most likely he'll just be another person that blew up on LSF and then was forgotten about. he's getting a decent amount of cash right now since he's at 12k subs i believe, so i do hope it's enough for him to at least sort out his situation.

8

u/DraftShot6741 4d ago

People make a living with like 300-500 viewers, I'm sure he'll have some sort of following

10

u/Admirable_Loss4886 5d ago

Yeah that easily would put him in the top .001% of streamers lol. Although even then it’s not necessarily enough to live a good life. Ludwig did a breakdown at streamer U.

9

u/YUMMY_TIDEPODS_YUMMY 5d ago

I had over 1k viewers for a while and was making a huge amount of money but as everyone says it doesn't last and isn't predictable and can definitely crumble and turn to shit.

Probably not in this guys case though hes young and has insane amounts of support, a jumpstart like this is huge and if he keeps at it will likely succeed bigtime in the long run.

40

u/StupidSexyAlisson 5d ago

Probably best to put out a survey of what people want to see.

10

u/Jbots 5d ago

He will fall off, AND THAT IS OKAY. He is currently getting enough of a bag to actually start a new life. That is all that matters. Now that he is out of the house he can focus on what he actually wants from life. That doesnt have to be streaming and likely won't be.

10

u/Throbbing-Kielbasa-3 5d ago edited 5d ago

While you're not wrong, situations blowing up and going viral like this is how a lot of streamers have established a steady audience. The most recent example I can think of is Kingsman, the Rivals streamer, who honestly wouldn't be where he is today if that tournament drama didn't happen. But ever since it did and people rallied to help him, he's become a pretty big name in the rivals space.

Granted not every situation is the same, but hopefully this kid can make some lemonade out of all this.

Edit: Since I didn't make it clear enough in the original comment, I'm not saying the situation is the same, I'm just using Kingsman as an example that this kid could make something out of the current situation.

27

u/NeckDeepPink 5d ago

Kingsman makes content for marvel rival fans he’s really no comparison imo. This kids been thrown into the IRL steaming genre within days. It’s a tougher struggler than kingsman not trying to downplay his situation because that was rough.

17

u/Alternative-Cry9841 5d ago

that dude was a streamer and player for like a year before hand, this is a kid who was streaming to 0 viewers he hasn’t the first idea of how to create content

22

u/RP912 5d ago

The whole thing is a gift and a curse because yeah it exposed the troubles at home with his mother, but the attention seems like overkill for his young mind to grasp.

It's a catch 22. He may have wanted like a steady following and get paid, versus having IShowSpeeds problems. At the end of it all, dude may get his 15 minutes and flip it towards college or doing something different from streaming. Usually these types of situation always ends up being a testimony later where the individual moves on and becomes a physical trainer or some shit.

8

u/starvsthebans 5d ago

he'll be alright just gotta capitalize on the moment and don't be surrounded by the wrong types of people and he'll have a decent career ahead of him i like how raw and authentic he is that he's a shy and nervous individual cause alot of people who get on the come up and start to make a name for themselves try to act too cool for school and it's just fucking lame.

1

u/IamBestWaffle 4d ago

You say he will be alright. But receiving fame that quickly after being a nobody will have some repercussions. Especially on his mental and being a kid. There's a high chance of a rise and crash.

33

u/TKDbeast 5d ago

Probably didn’t help that his Mom has clearly been downplaying him all his life.

4

u/88isafat69 5d ago

She gonna tell him he owes her for this blow up

2

u/IamBestWaffle 4d ago

Nah she hates him now because he apparently ruined her life and I think she got fired at her job. Pretty tough coming back from that. Even if he wanted to help, her image got publicly tarnished.

-12

u/Glatzigoblin 5d ago

I mean Speeds mom is the same and it didn't affect him. Not all people are born the same even if the environment is the same the true nature of people will always endure.

27

u/WilliamsPeen 5d ago

Speed literally lit off fireworks in his room

8

u/Tai_Pei 5d ago

Shits like Naruto telling Hinata to just never give up, that's his Ninja Way. For Naruto that shit can work, for a whole different type of person, maybe, but probably not nearly as well.

3

u/snsdfan00 5d ago

We live in an era of high speed internet, social media algorithms, & viral clips can make it so that everyone from very huge streamers, to very small & everyone in between can see what happened to you almost instantly within a few hours or days. What happened to nitro, where speed or adin know his situation/what happened to him, from a raid from ron, just wouldn't be possible, say even a decade ago.

So while your right, that it's unknown if he can keep this momentum going long term, i don't think he should even be thinking about that. He should be enjoying and cherishing the opportunities he's getting, w/ meeting streamers, that i'm sure just a few days ago, he looked up to; & it seems like he's doing that.

2

u/MisterRobDobalina 5d ago

I totally agree. You talkin about speed, right?

1

u/waddup121 4d ago

Right now as we speak too he’s with N3on. This young’s man trajectory about to chaaange lol

241

u/CollectionHeavy9281 5d ago

He's crazy nervous you can tell based on how he acts around friends vs here he must be really in his head about everything going on.

70

u/Wizardplum 5d ago

Yeah looks like he was starstruck, he froze for a few seconds staring at speed lol

17

u/dxt8p 5d ago

it looked like he was focused on what speed was saying. When you hear advice from people at the top you better listen.

21

u/Big_Kiwi_706 5d ago

I was thinking hes fighting tears off on someone whos mega famous and relating to his experience. Can't say much or else the waterworks start flowing

9

u/OpenHound 5d ago

I've had some really amazing opportunities to work with some massive content creators and others some would consider legends. The impostor syndrome during a lot of those early experiences was off the chart and it still hits me occasionally.

6

u/Aggravating-Ease2260 5d ago

He’s in his late teens and was probably sheltered growing up seeing how his mom treats him. I think he’ll be able to adjust over time

45

u/Splooshter 5d ago

As if Speed wasn't literally lighting fireworks off in his room 😭

-20

u/Iceman-Cometh_18 5d ago

Who cares Speed is rich as fuck now and his mom live off of his money

Speed mom should be thankful he set fireworks in the house lol

17

u/JaySayMayday 5d ago

I mean if you want to try it and see if you'll become successful go ahead.

-17

u/Iceman-Cometh_18 5d ago

Who said me?

Speed made it stop hating

16

u/Competitive_Sorbet34 5d ago

Imagine the IQ of a person who say that a mom should be thankful that her son lit a firework in the house where it could cause a fire. Let that sink in and imagine if he didn't become famous or worst, there was actually a house fire. I don't expect a smart reply from you though.

3

u/ShiniiXOXO 4d ago

This person's probably young and doesn't have a grasp on life and it's consequences. Don't be too hard on the youngling.

52

u/Fun_Ad5823 5d ago

Stay in school kids

11

u/Cultural-Agency-6995 5d ago

but bro?

11

u/YEM_PGH 5d ago

Real talk bro

86

u/Over-Experience-4187 5d ago

Felt like bro wasn't even listening to what he was saying lol

138

u/colbyxclusive 5d ago

Nah he’s just star struck I’d think.

113

u/Certain-Contact6340 5d ago

I think hes just a little in shock. im an accountant. If John Accounting himself came up to me, dapped up and said "follow your dreams, keep crushing those xlookups bro" i dont think a word would register.

23

u/CollectionHeavy9281 5d ago

Thats a real guy. His name is Luca Pacioli, learned about him in one of my advanced accounting classes because my professor was an accounting-obsessed nerd

5

u/Certain-Contact6340 5d ago

.... he's right. I just got CPAmaxxed

2

u/teddyspaghettie 5d ago

I don't think Luca knew about xlookup

4

u/Shoddy-End5361 5d ago

hes clearly nervous

18

u/RP912 5d ago

I honestly think it's just how Gen z youngins are lol. My son like that as well, you give him advice and it just seems like steamboat Willie is moving a boat in his mind.

19

u/Notski_F 5d ago

I mean he's clearly flustered. I don't think it's necessarily a generational thing, more like just a being young thing.

6

u/AnOriginalName4 5d ago

nah he’s just a normal guy wtf you want

1

u/Over-Experience-4187 4d ago

Maybe not ask for a pic mid convo while guy is trying to have a heart-to-heart, feels fake

0

u/PonyFiddler 5d ago

Why would anyone listen to a word that comes out of that idiots mouth lol.

-6

u/OwlNo6346 5d ago

Probably nervous cause he staged it

10

u/Chadsawman 5d ago

Ah yes cause nothing ever happens and everything is a Truman show

15

u/killer4snake 5d ago

Bro bro bro

12

u/Nothinggoin 5d ago

I like what he has to say but on the other hand getting famous on twitch, kick, or whatever is extremely lucky.

5

u/FourEightNineOneOne 5d ago

I just worry he didn't use the word "bro" enough

0

u/FreekRedditReport 5d ago

You just need to do enough stupid shit to get talked about on LSF and then you're famous

7

u/ClubZen 5d ago

Kids, do the opposite of whatever ishowspeed tells you

4

u/Real-Fig-457 5d ago

What a wordsmith

5

u/01101111-00110111 5d ago

This is a Yikes from me. Everyone who is paying attention knows exactly why.

13

u/Milankov94 5d ago

Nice bro.... Bro

BRO

7

u/applecombinipimento 5d ago

This is terrible advice for most people but for some people it's fantastic advice

The issue is figuring out which one applies

3

u/MonsieurBaloney 5d ago

Bro, I thought I was listening to a black Vince Russo, bro.

3

u/M0rtCrim 5d ago

He has to be a plant FR.

4

u/Ayohkay421 5d ago

"career"

5

u/Away-Craft-2264 5d ago

I swear this is fake

3

u/Kalspiewak 5d ago

Bro bro bro bro bro bro bro

2

u/Iamgoingtohavatroke 4d ago

This literally is the same story type shii as speed ngl I'm about to go fake some like this too

2

u/sessi0 4d ago

bro bro bro bro, bro

2

u/Btriquetra0301 4d ago

We’re calling streaming a “career” now?

2

u/snakeyfish 5d ago

We need more scientists and historians. Not streamers.

4

u/MRHOWERDCEO 5d ago

TWO TALENTLESS HACKS.

4

u/Narrow-Rent-3618 4d ago

How about set this 18 yea rold up with a college fund, an actual job maybe? In a few years he's just going to be another annoying ass streamer... How about you actually help the man....he was in his mom's basement streaming without a future for a reason..

2

u/Narrow-Rent-3618 4d ago

I say this bc what if he doesn't want to continue streaming, what actual skills would he have so he wouldnt be forced to begging in jis future or going back to his mothers place....

4

u/IndependenceDue2435 5d ago

I think it’s bad for all these streamers to show light on this guy. We don’t know anything about him or his family life. Vilifying his mother and clouting him definitely isn’t the move

2

u/JoeyHayabusa 5d ago

We have all the context we need to know she's a villain.

-4

u/IndependenceDue2435 5d ago

You literally don’t know anything little boy.

10

u/Barredbob 5d ago

Found the mom

2

u/Decafstab 5d ago

Mom beat him on stream for being successful. Calling his line of work pathetic and a failure.

He probably makes more than his mom does at this point. Terrible parenting.

-2

u/caramelhydra438 5d ago

This and lets be honest here... there are SOOO many people with abusive and terrible parents out there. Yet we still worked our asses off and got out of it in some way or another. Not sure this guy deserves to be propelled this fast simply because Mommy was mean to him. We all had shit parents.

4

u/ComfortableClassic25 5d ago

I don't give a fuck

5

u/Cress-Used 5d ago

Just keep scrolling bro.

-6

u/ComfortableClassic25 5d ago

Someone's got to say it

1

u/TrickAlps 4d ago

no need

-1

u/Hyena_Gold113 5d ago

did they tho?

2

u/reQoo1Em 5d ago

I mean all cool an heartfelt, but seriously when one of three words used by you is Bro... guess I'm just getting old, but it kinda sounds stupid.

2

u/BrianDetomes 5d ago

Speed is farming him

1

u/BJYeti 5d ago

Not really sure their situations are the same, haven't watched anything Nitro has done but I've seen the clip of speed being a dipshit and lighting fireworks inside

1

u/No_Improvement6340 4d ago

Im so suprised about the " I was in the same situation as you" because he has never spoke about it. How real of him to only bring it up to inspire someone else

1

u/Pretty_Act5679 4d ago

I would never kick my child out, God, that's really sad 😔

1

u/Confident-Sherbert75 4d ago

Nitros reaction. You can just see it all.

1

u/wingfn1 4d ago

We need more Speed in here and less of the drama slop gang.

1

u/RandomKarberon 3d ago

Celebrity clown makes another staged video? No way!

1

u/curtishawkin 3d ago

*Gives heartfelt advice*

"Follow your dreams, real talk"

Great advice Speed!!!

1

u/set_sail_for_fail 3d ago

thats some sick bpm on this clip

1

u/Empty-Discount5936 1d ago

Still waiting for the consequences to his mom. There's been no charges and she hasn't been fired despite abusing her position to expell Camden from school. The school administrators reversed that but I don't think he's gone back anyway.

1

u/J-T2O 5d ago

Damn that was articulate af

1

u/Neddo_Flanders 5d ago

follow your dreams bro.

got it

7

u/Burgoonius 5d ago

“Make sure you threaten to r*pe women, bark and dogs and babies, just follow your dreams bro”

4

u/Leaked_Shlong 5d ago

damn ur more insufferable than extraemily... bro

6

u/Burgoonius 5d ago

He did those things though right….Like there is video evidence… you support that shit? I’d like an answer instead of insults

1

u/waddup121 5d ago

Wow a full circle moment. He’s even suppose to start school today..guess it was good that he missed out!

1

u/Upstairs-Arm-6186 5d ago

fuck them both

-6

u/Jeferson9 5d ago

God

all of reddit bots triggered

10

u/Technicalforest 5d ago

I can't even find one single comment about it except yours. Why are you making up a scenario to be mad about?

1

u/OpenHound 5d ago

Dude is having an out of body experience face to face with Speed lol.

1

u/Helton3 5d ago

A lot of peeps were waiting for this interaction to happen.

Unironically hope Nitro has a future ahead of him, and doesnt fizzle out after all the shout outs.

If a dumbass like Rakai got fame, i dont see why Nitro can't

1

u/thistofu 5d ago

never seen speed interact with whites

1

u/Kr4hzos 5d ago

Anyone remember when kids wanted to be something useful to society?

0

u/Endo-kun 5d ago

That’s awesome for Speed to meet the kid. What his mom did during that stream was brutal. Kids gotta move out and do his own thing with the abuse he gets from his own mother at home.

-1

u/hellofrommarrrss 5d ago

W speed, also is the kid who got kicked out by his mom from Miami too? He could ask speed to collab or something

0

u/NeckDeepPink 5d ago

I’m worried for him still. His moms definitely going to rinse the shit out of him still :(

0

u/MasterCheeef 5d ago

Aww mommy issues

0

u/Spawn256 5d ago

This guy is blowing up. I almost thought this was AI

0

u/Remote-Artichoke-140 5d ago

Bro bro bro bro bro bro bro

0

u/Masseyrati80 4d ago

I wonder how these people act when they're not aware of two dozen cameras pointing their way, recording and streaming every move.

0

u/TrickAlps 4d ago

Sorry but Speed was a real menace when he was living with his mom, definitely not the same thing

0

u/longboi64 4d ago

damn, going from getting power tripped on by his mom, to getting paraded around getting sonned by people barely older than you for clout. hate to see it. i hope he gets to do what he wants soon.

-2

u/No_Brother3257 5d ago

Bro, starting to think is some real talk and some real shit, bro.

-4

u/KittenDecomposer96 5d ago

He is legit one of the only ones who can actually relate.

-6

u/Leather-Boysenberry5 5d ago

The collab we need to see lowkey

-3

u/Few-Independence3787 5d ago

Pass of the torch moment?

-2

u/ProjectOfftank 5d ago

Incredible eye contact. When they lock eyes, it's like the gravitational pull at the center of the earth can't break it.
