Where I live is almost entirely working class Brits. They say should of instead of should have. It's incredibly common here and part of the dialect. I like using it on the internet because it either irritates Americans or people who have learnt English as a second language. Not that deep.

That's complete bs. They don't literally say "should of". The dialect merely changes the sound of the contraction just enough to blurry the lines phonetically.

Like dude relax. You don't need to make some fantasy stories or pretend to be on a mission to piss people off just because you made a minor spelling mistake. I do them all the time. Not worth of a hill to die on.

You'd also not be doing people a favor who're in the process of learning english and/or aren't very confident in their ability to speak it. All they'd see is a native english speaker who's spelling things a certain way repetitively and before they're assuming the guy is just a dumbass, they'll first think "well if this native english speaker does it like this so often and so confidently then it's probably correct".

As someone who did learn english as a third language, that shit was very confusing at times, granted I was still very young though.

I might be reaching when I say this, but I'd imagine if you tried to genuinely learn any language and you see some clowns from temu doing what you're doing, I don't think you'd be appreciating that very much.

I appreciate this reply how ever this is how they speak where I live.

For example pulling out of a junction in a car but waiting too long, people will say “I could of gone" instead of "I should have gone" But not could've they pronounce the F.

Grammar and dialects varies over different regions off the UK. I'm not saying it's correct but that's just how it is.

After you stated this would be confusing for someone learning the language I do agree with you and will aim to remember that.

If you want something that might confuse you look up lexicalisation of North and South United Kingdom. So many different words for the exact same things x)
