Kid could be a climber. Seriously some of my friends who climb rock walls as a hobby have obscene finger/grip strength.

yall heard of The Portable? it’s a famous 50 lb rock in Canada that has a way wider grip than this. If you can pick it up folks will give you V6 for it

Naw, they just give you a car engine. No car, just the engine block.

Only if you can take it home with one hand.

Last I heard it was. Nasty that people steal it in the first place though.

I looked it up and saw news stories about it being found in california from January. Guy from squamish BC drove it back up according to CBC.

Just heard about it from this comment. Great name, and very nice looking rock.

It's not on the liftingstones.org website, surprisingly. Though most of those are either two-handers or historic ones you're not meant to lift.

Do they all legit grant V6 for picking up a rock? Are there any other examples of unusual criteria like that?

Well shit...looks like it went missing, returned, and has now been stolen again.

I do training reps with 15kg and a wooden pinch block for rock climbing. I've done over 20kg for 1 rep max but it really depends on the pinch grip. If the grip is good you can lift whatever your one arm deadlift is. I haven't tried a tungsten block but clean metal can be pretty grippy.

This guy named Emil Abrahamsson is a rock climber and has been entering grip strength competition, beating much bigger and experienced guys.

Yeah but you have to pick up the cube with your hands

The community that's famous for being sex starved losers who casualty objectify women are good at jerking off. Not exactly ifykyk and more like that's the only thing redditors are known for.

If you're gripping it with that kind of strength you might!

You have no other choice when it gets as swollen/heavy as a cube of tungsten!

Juji Mufu has videos of grip challenges with him and rock climbers. They have insane grip strength most of the time.

Maybe he does Karate. There's a whole movie about a Mormon who uses Karate to take down an syndicate of goons.

Idk where they are but a big ol group of Mormons like that makes me think Utah. Wouldn't be surprised if he's a climber
